How do I access ADSelfService Plus?

I would like to use ADSelfService, but I need a version that supports SELinux.

It is possible to access the ADSelfService Plus from the domain, is it possible from a different client? I think I can not even change the SELinux on domain clients. Is it possible to use this and configure SELinux from Windows? From Windows 7 and later you can use. Wmic /node:"" ADSelfServicePlus Set SID. Or

We use self service for client activation for most of our users.

We want to change it to 'ad' as it will be easier to remember. When logging into the self service portal, you get prompted for the password and then it takes you to a login page with a field to enter the password and email address. If we change it to 'ad' in that field, we are not able to login to the portal because it always take the default password - which is incorrect. We need to change the default password so that we can login without getting the password incorrect error message.

If your AD admin password is set to a random (for example, 8 char) password then I would suggest setting the password to something like "ad", where "ad" is a random number of characters. This should make it easier for the user to remember and for anyone trying to guess the password will have to guess the random password instead of guessing the password in the database.
