Who does BB-9E belong to?

Why does it care about him?

How come that guy is able to keep BB-9E from going berserk with his droid army and why doesn't he give him a new command? Did someone tell him not to or did he figure it out on his own? Do BB-9E and C-3PO have a falling out, and if so, what does it all mean?

As for the answers: Well I've never read any of the EU novels. There's only one so far that sounds like it might explain it. In the Han Solo novel that Luke reads for Han while they're imprisoned together, Luke meets Han's childhood friend Jaina Solo and when Han asks why the guy wants to see him in particular, Luke replies, "Because Han's grandfather died. Before my grandfather died." (This is also related to the next question, which is: What the hell is a "Tannabess"?)

It was in his book TANABESS: A BRIEF HISTORY OF FORBES TANNANBESS. His answer is, of course, that it is a play on his last name and the old Scottish word for "bastard."

Who is the "real" Vader? There are two distinct theories that say this question has been answered. One says that Darth Vader is really Emperor Palpatine and the other says that there's no such thing as the "real" Vader, that the real Vader is inside the head of the actor playing the role. Here are the two theories and their explanations.

The first explanation goes like this: Vader is the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker. He lost his memory of his life as Anakin Skywalker when he was hit by the training helmet and became Darth Vader, but he retained all his memories of his life as a Jedi, the events of his life after the fall of the Jedi order, and how he came to be Darth Vader. This also would explain why Palpatine knew him before. The reason for this is that he was a Jedi who was trained by Luke Skywalker and that Luke brought him along to the battle of Yavin.

This explanation makes a lot of sense and has the added benefit of being true in the movie series. However, if you listen closely, you can hear Vader whispering Palpatine's name in Empire when Vader confronts him.

Is BB-8 a boy or a girl?

"I like the look of him better as a guy," says the "Cupcake Wars" judge on "Dancing with the Stars." Why a woman? Because "she'd never wear any of that stuff. She's much more of a modern girl, a fun rebel," says Margo Hunt, who stars alongside Miley Cyrus on the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana."

A Disney version of BB-8 might still be years away. The film, expected to launch a franchise for the House of Mouse, is currently scheduled for 2025. But when it does hit the big screen, it'll have a gender-neutral design and will serve as more than a "Star Wars" movie mascot. Instead of the cute butrobot-like BB-8 who was initially built to stand out as an attention grabber, "it's going to be more of a cool, hip thing," says Jon Landau, Lucasfilm's president of new media.

He's a rebel, ready to fight -- "Star Wars: Episode 8," scheduled for 2025, pits the good guys -- Rey, Finn, Chewie, Han and Leia -- against evil Kylo Ren and his henchmen, Darth Vader and Supreme Leader Snoke. He's a hot commodity -- The "Episode 8" trailer features a number of droids on display for the first time and offers tantalizing glimpses of many more that have been built as droids in recent years for Disney parks around the world. Some appear male, but others -- including BB-8 -- look pretty neutral.

He brings the girls -- Droids are all good, except when they bring the girls. From "Cars" to "Muppet Vision 3D" to Pixar's animated "Brave," robots have always been part of the family; "Muppets Take Manhattan," however, features a sentient garbage bin that seduces humans into thinking it's human.
