I've had the app for a while and used to love it, until they dropped their data plan to 3GB. I switched to Ookla speedtest.net which is free and has a much more extensive test than Psiphon.

I'm no longer interested in Psiphon because it really isn't necessary anymore. Psiphon can give you a lot of data even with a low cap (which is what I was using before). My cap is currently 40mbps and I still get over 150mbps download and 20mbps upload.

But I agree with you 100%, this application is a niche product and I think its value proposition is disappearing. PS: Just wanted to add that my psiphon works perfectly on an iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and iPad 3 running iOS 7.1 with an AT&T wireless data plan. Just thought I would share since it has saved me a lot of trouble in the past.

Yeah, they're trying to change the game on the user with these cheapo deals. So I'll keep using psiphon since it's easy to use and works better than other apps. That's really dumb.
