Is Last Stop Larrimah available in the US?
The title of this article may seem a bit misleading.
There's no way to know for sure at the moment, but I'd be willing to bet money that we'll find out that it was available in the US soon enough. We've had some solid indications that it was, but nothing on a level like this has happened before, and until it actually happens, it will be hard to say for sure.
There's just no way to know for sure right now. So let's take a look at why it's difficult to say for sure. Larrimah doesn't have a US release date yet. We don't really know much about it at all. We've seen a few teasers for the game, and the general idea that it's a horror-themed action RPG with a story revolving around a train, but beyond that, there isn't a whole lot of info. We know it was announced back in July 2025, and that the release date is set for May 9th of this year, but it's not been given a specific release date in North America. It's possible that we'll be hearing more about it very soon, but until then, it's very difficult to say anything for sure.
It's also worth pointing out that the only major difference between the European and American releases of the game is that the US one will be released on PS4. Other than that, it's the same game in every way, and it would be weird if this wasn't the case.
The biggest indication we have that it's coming to the US is this teaser. The tagline for the trailer reads The Last Stop Larrimah, and it's clear that this is a reference to the train. However, the trailer isn't very long, and the only part that clearly shows Larrimah is that a number of people are trying to board the train.
This seems to indicate that it's being released in North America, because even if there's a delay, it's unlikely that people will be waiting for weeks for the game to come out.

'What would you be looking for?
Where would you be going?'. I have been asked many times over the past few weeks about my interest in the 'Last Stop Larrimah'. A small town deep in the bush, a long way from anywhere.
To date I've had a few people ask me if it is a real place or just an 'urban myth'. What would you be looking for? I've also had a couple of people say they would be excited to get there. And when I heard that I was wondering where that excitement was coming from? This small town sits between the two major river systems in Northern NSW, the Bega and the Macintyre. The Bega River forms its boundary with the Central Coast. You can get to it by either the Bega Valley Highway or the Northern Road which comes from the south. It's only 20 minutes from the major highway.
You can also get there by boat, although this can be a fairly rough journey. Or if you don't want to go by boat you could take the train and hop off at either the Tarcutta Station or the nearby Narooma Station.
The closest towns are Mogo, Nambucca Heads and Maclean. To be honest I've always found these towns pretty dull. They might not have anyone you know there, but it's not like they have something unique to offer.
There is nothing unique about the Last Stop Larrimah. It has a pub. It has a post office. It has a church and a school. You'll need to drive past all of these to get there.
This small town was once a booming gold mining town. The gold ran out in the 1960s and the population dropped drastically. It was also home to a large prison which closed in 2025. When the prison closed the land became a training camp for the Parramatta Group which was a paramilitary organisation.
For a while the area was home to about 1000 men, living in tents. Then the land was bought by a businessman and a developer who built over 30 houses on the outskirts of town.
Now there are just around 200 people who live in the town.
Where can I see the last stop in Larrimah?
I am planning on getting the train out of Brisbane to the Gold Coast, it says I can see the last stop in Larrimah, but I am not sure where that is. It says I can only go as far as Surfers Paradise, but I have no idea where that is. I have tried Google maps, but they don't seem to know. I would like to find out where that is so I can plan my trip.
1 answer. You can get off the train at Maroochydore, and then catch a cab to Surfers Paradise, or you can take a bus from there. If you're staying near the beach you might want to use the bus. Otherwise, you'll need to rent a car.
There are 4 ways to get to Surfers Paradise from Brisbane, depending on how far inland you want to travel. Catch the train to Maroochydore. (Google Maps estimate: 5 hours, 11 minutes, 20 km).
Catch the train to Coomera. (Google Maps estimate: 6 hours, 19 minutes, 17 km).
Catch the train to Brisbane Airport. (Google Maps estimate: 1 hour, 59 minutes, 32 km).
(Google Maps estimate: 1 hour, 48 minutes, 22 km). You'll have to buy a bus ticket from Surfers Paradise to Brisbane. You can buy the tickets at the bus depot. They are also available on the bus.
By the way, Surfers Paradise is the southernmost point of the Gold Coast. The point is a long sandy beach that is the southern most end of the Gold Coast.
When was the last stop in Larrimah?
How far is it to Tewantin?
About 25 minutes, the woman replied. And we are the last stop.
She smiled, her eyes dancing with mischief. Do you want to walk? Sure, why not? I was already planning the walk through this place. The sun glinted on the river, the grass was cool and lush under my bare feet. This was what was coming to me. A cool, damp, green landscape.
Then let's do that. As the train slowed into the station, she pulled out a map from the bottom of her bag and we began to stroll through the countryside. The houses were spread wide apart, dotted with the red gum trees and the green grass. Some of the trees looked a little too tall for my liking but no matter, it was all very friendly. We didn't seem to pass anyone else on our path. It was as though there was some sort of agreement between us not to be disturbed.
We walked to the end of the train line and then turned left along the road. Soon, the grass became higher and the trees were a bit closer to the road. This country side is all about the bush - thickets of the karri trees (a type of cypress) with grasses, vines and some very prickly bushes growing wild among the tall cypresses. My bare feet were beginning to feel at home in the sand.
It took about 45 minutes of walking along the road for us to reach Tewantin. It was a town with a big shopping centre, plenty of shops and a beautiful sandy beach. As we got closer to the town, a woman stood up from the beach and waved to us.
You need to go through that gate, she said pointing to a metal gate across the road from the beach. Sure, thanks, we chatted, looking at the gate. The woman didn't seem worried about us approaching her house. She went back to the beach. Her husband and son came from the house and walked with us to the gate.
What name do you want? The name is Mary.
