Is Apple discontinuing iTunes for Windows?
Apple has decided to change a lot of things regarding the Windows platform, with regards to its OS's user interface and software.
This includes, of course, iTunes on the Windows platform. For a lot of people, this news might be very disappointing. Is it true? How would you feel if a product from Apple that you can not afford to upgrade due to the costs that it takes was discontinued? Well, this article is going to help you answer to these questions!
Will Apple finally discontinue iTunes for Windows? This news made the headlines a few days ago. Yes, this company decided to give iTunes out to Android users exclusively. You can see the announcement video below.
Apple is giving iTunes out to users with Android smartphones. This news surprised a lot of people on the forum section. Most of the ones who posted on the topic claimed that they would like to receive such news. Now, this does not mean that iTunes is being deleted or discontinued, but it means that you will not be able to use it anymore. The good news is that you can download iTunes from other sources, such as Google.
The same kind of news appeared back in the golden days. That is when a few years ago the iPod classic was discontinued and it brought back the iPod nano. This was a disappointment at the time. However, when we think back, Apple makes new iPod models every year and I do not think that we will ever have the iPod classic again. And since the introduction of the third-generation iPod shuffle, nothing special was introduced. Thus, no new iPod models for years.
I did not expect any major news in this year when it comes to the iPad and the iPod touch. It would be much more reasonable to say that Apple discontinues these two devices and offers the last update to the iPad 2. However, some people said that they have been having difficulty getting all the applications onto their Macs because it only has an 11GB limit. They said that Apple had no intention of solving this issue.
How will I get updates? Can I still use my iTunes? This is one of the most important questions that should not wait to ask. If were talking about the Mac OS, then there would be no problem. However, the iPhone and the iPod touch have to sync with the Mac OS.
How do I get iTunes on my Windows PC?
ITunes for Windows is a free application that will help you download and manage the music, videos, photos and apps that you buy from the Apple iTunes Store.
You can also sync your media files, such as music and photo collections, with your iPod or iPhone via USB cable. As well as the usual things you'd expect - such as playing songs, browsing for music in the library, adding tracks to playlists - iTunes for Windows can handle all the things you might have trouble with on a Mac.
To get started with iTunes for Windows, click on the Start button and type itunes into the search bar (Image 1). This will bring up a page full of icons and links (Image 2). Click on the icon that looks like an arrow on a padlock. This will launch the iTunes Store app (Image 3).
To buy music, click on the Music tab and select either the Apple Music store or iTunes store from the Store dropdown menu. If you are going to buy music or apps that are currently free in the iTunes Store, you'll need to download an app called 'Finder My Purchases'.
To find out more about the features and options in iTunes for Windows, click on Help in the upper right corner of the screen. There are lots of help resources on iTunes for Windows that cover everything from importing music from an external hard drive to managing media files.
ITunes for Windows works best if you have a Mac, iPod or iPhone that will connect to your PC via USB. It doesn't have all of the fancy visual media management features available in iTunes for Mac and iOS. That said, it is a pretty solid way of getting your stuff on the go.
How do I get iTunes for Mac? iTunes for Mac is a full blown media management application and is one of the only apps available that will create your own playlists and allow you to copy and paste music onto your iTunes library.99, but there are plenty of free and paid alternatives for those who want less of an overall multimedia experience.

Is iTunes still available 2023?
We've all been wondering and waiting.
There were rumors last year that Apple might make a streaming service of some sort which could become available in time for 2025 (2023?). While some believe Apple could release an iTunes-only online music store, nothing of the sort has been announced. But what is to say that when Apple finally does make the announcement (I think they will but it could also happen later), that all other online music stores will be done away with? They don't have to. They could simply release the iTunes App Store as a subscription based thing, much like Spotify Plus.
Currently, Spotify is the biggest streaming music service out there, at least from the west. It offers over 30 million tracks as free, and even if you aren't a subscriber, many of their songs can be legally streamed whenever and wherever. Of course, you won't get most of these on Apple Music if you use it as a comparison, but if it became a major service, Apple Music could be phased out of the market altogether and we'd get an iTunes-like thing. That isn't what I think will happen. What do you think will happen?

How do I connect my Windows computer to iTunes?
ITunes is running on my Windows computer.
I want to connect iTunes to this computer using a Windows PC? I tried connecting, but it didn't work. Do I need any special software? What do I need to do?
1) Click Start > Control Panel. 2) Expand View the contents of the disk and right-click on Organize. 3) Click New > Folder. Name the folder Media, and then hit OK.
4) Copy all the music files and folders (and anything else you want iTunes to access) to the new folder. Do this by right-clicking on them and selecting Copy (or Move, if you're on Windows XP) to the new folder.
5) Now right-click on the new folder (if it's not already selected), select Create Shortcut, and then click OK. 6) Double-click on the created shortcut to open Windows Explorer, and then navigate to the library folder. 7) Navigate to the folder that holds the media you want to add to iTunes and double-click to open it in Windows Explorer. 8) Now click on the first album or song file you want to add to iTunes, and you'll have successfully added it to your iTunes library. 9) Repeat steps 6 through 8 for every media file you want to add. 10) Once you're done, shut down your PC and then go back to iTunes on your Mac and sync the files with iTunes. 11) If you don't see all the media files you just added to your library, make sure you've got the iTunes window visible (select iTunes from your startup screen) and expand the media items at the bottom of the library, so they show up in your iTunes library.
