How do I find Google IP address?
My system IP is different from that of my web hosting server's DNS address.
When you log into the Google Webmaster Tools and click the Crawl Diagnostics. Tab, then you will see a field that says "Ip address" this is where you go to. You enter the IP address and it gives you the country and other informaiton about that address. You can type the IP address in when you submit your site. It will only look in your IP address if you specify that is where to scan. That is how I found out the IP for your site.
Is there an IP address map?

To get your IP address visit:
Your IP is the one on the left.
What can I do with it? You can use it in a web browser, email, IRC chat, and many other. Applications. See `info http` in section 9 of manpage 10 for more.
A "whois" (see `man whois`) search will show you who registered the domain name. That you are using. This is useful to identify where your web site comes from. It can be used for various other services too.
For example, you may wish to use `mail me` so that you can send mail to. `me at mydomain`. If your home host is `www.com`, your whois query would be something like: whois www. DNS refers to two parts, a client and a server. The server knows where the names are and can query them via the local hostname which can contain a DNS. Address like `www.nodenameserver. You have to register your name for
DNS use at `www.com` or `dns.internic.net` (which is hosted by
Network Solutions). There are many companies that offer DNS services and DNS registries, such as `www.glaciers.org`.
When you type in your home host name at a DNS browser, like `www.google.com`,
You are asking the DNS server where you are at. The server then looks up your domain name like `google.com` and asks you if you know the address for that particular host (`198.102.124.129`). If you do,
The address is returned back to the DNS server which then forwards the. Request on to the appropriate machine.
How do I find out where an IP address is located?
I know this is a little bit like asking 'how do I find out if someone is lying to me', but this is more of an IT question.
I have been running into a problem with a certain IP address being used on my network and it seems that the person who was supposed to be connected to it is actually spoofing the IP address. I found out that the IP address is located in London (I live in San Francisco). I am looking for the nearest exchange, or something that might tell me which carrier is using it and where in London it is.
I have tried to find an online service that would give me this information, but so far haven't found anything. Is there any sort of tool or other service that would let me get this information? Thanks for the answers! So far I am thinking of just using the online Google Maps tool to try and figure this out. It will take a while to get all the data I want, but I'll do my best. Thanks again!
JamesJan 21 '13 at 5:02. Thanks for the answer! I thought this would be a dead end as I haven't found any tools online. However, I tried using the Google Maps tool and found the exact location and the name of the exchange. This is definitely a service worth checking out.

There are several tools that you could use to determine this information. I would recommend going with the first one I suggested in my answer. If you find a better tool that you like, let us know!
I don't have access to any tools (I use Linux) so I can only provide a general list of tools that might help. The tools are: You can also try and run traceroute to the IP address, this will probably be a lot faster than using an online tool. Another thing you can do is use something like arp -an to list all of your IP addresses and see which ones are directly connected to which interfaces. It should be fairly straight forward to figure out which IP address is which interface.
@James: Great answer. I was curious what were some of the other options and thought you might know. I didn't know about arp. Thanks for adding it! I will definitely try it out.
