How does Hulu check student status?

Students sign up on the official Hulu application, not the unofficial Hulu app.

How to Sign In to Your Hulu Account. Step 1: From your browser, go to Hulu.com.

Step 2: Click on the "Sign In" button in the top-right corner of the homepage. Step 3: Choose your account type (Family, Individual, or Student) and your campus. Step 4: Sign in to your account using the unique username and password provided by the school and/or organization that you are affiliated with. You may be prompted to answer one or more questions during this step; follow the prompts to provide any required information.

Step 5: Access your personal dashboard on the right side of the homepage. How to Change Your Password. Students have the option of choosing a new password upon registration, or can choose to change their password in My Account. Students can log into their personal dashboard, click My Account and then select Change Password to create a new password for their Hulu account.

Hulu announced last week that they're launching a new service called the Disney-branded, Hulu with Live TV.

The service will give you access to the latest and greatest networks, but also a bunch of other networks that might be hard for you to find online (that's not going to change with this offering). That also means your current Hulu subscription will double as a service. Oh, and there's more.

Hulu with Live TV will include local stations, too. You'll still be able to watch on-demand programming from the service, you'll get access to your TV shows in the cloud through Hulu Plus, and will be able to live stream your favorite sports and local TV networks.

You might need to do more digging to find Disney and NBC shows. So how do you sign up? Hulu is sending you a bunch of pre-made bundles. Those include popular entertainment channels (like ESPN and HGTV) and Disney and NBC channels. The "Live TV" option also comes with a whole host of traditional cable options from Disney, Bravo, Food Network, TBS, Hallmark, CNN, Nickelodeon, Viacom, AMC, FOX, and more. The downside is these bundles may look similar, but you'll actually need to figure out which one includes what you want.
