Does any streaming service have a student discount?

I don't know if anyone has tried this, but I would probably try out Amazon's Echo Dot and ask their help line in the future.

The customer service guy on the phone said that he can't confirm anything, but he is positive that there are coupons out there for Amazon TV (not sure which ones). In his opinion, it's a good way to build a relationship with the customer and to offer discounts at least.

In the end, all was well. I didn't get to talk to them but it turns out I received Amazon prime student discount (which is not really a discount because you already pay for free trial subscription) on a new streaming device. It was totally my own mistake (no one could have guessed my intentions!) and thanks to @MarkRansom for his help.

This may be a dumb question but I was told there was no student discount, but did not receive confirmation on this. I'd have to go back to my first visit when they sold me the whole ticket package. It would have been about two years ago. I agree that it's best to purchase the tickets at the kiosk, but if you can't walk to theater, then that's a viable option. I went to the kiosk, then had to drive to theater.

No. The Student Advantage is only available on the Hulu Plus subscription. As you can see in the image above, there is no Student Discount on the HBO Max subscription. However, this doesn't mean that you can't get it. All it means is that there is no official way to get it. You just need to sign up for a new Hulu Plus subscription. I got it without a student discount, but if you want one you should sign up for the Hulu Plus subscription that I linked above. I'd like to see an official source of information on this, but as far as I know Hulu has never officially stated anything about this.

If you're a student and you have a PC, you can use your Windows account to access Hulu Plus for free. As long as you are enrolled in school and you are paying for tuition and housing, I don't believe that you would be charged for Hulu Plus. I don't think that this applies to Macs or iPads. You can use a Windows 8.1 machine to access Hulu Plus for free.
