By 2026 will Netflix still be around?

I read you're the only one that still has money. How do you afford it? Yes, this might be true if you watch shows only. However, if you are not watching a whole show (series) at a time but just a few episodes at a time, then watching only Netflix does not seem like an effective way to save money.

In the past, I've written about whether Netflix is a scam. However, over the past few months I've noticed that Netflix has started to grow into a real competitor for television services. I also watched their advertisements on TV a lot more recently.

The one-and-done model is gone. Instead, they are becoming more like cable/satellite and are offering more of the types of products that they advertised on TV in the past. In my opinion, this has been pretty successful, especially considering that they lost over a quarter of a billion dollars over the past two years.

However, the most interesting thing is that they will continue losing money in the future and will never turn a profit - even after turning a profit in every previous year! Why is this surprising? Netflix's growth has accelerated lately, partly because of the one-and-done model that was supposed to make them great customers (no one can keep subscribing to these shows all the time). However, as a result, they have become the new cable. As we learned, cable doesn't work very well once your customers stop paying, either.

I don't think that I need to talk to you about why it will fail. They won't survive as long as they do now. It costs twice as much as HBO, and only half of us pay for HBO, and we use up a lot of bandwidth with our own television.
