How to turn off restrictions on iPad without passcode?
Can anybody tell me how to turn off restrictions in iOS?
There's a "Restrictions" function that will remove the passcode limitation, but I need this button, not just for this device (iPad) but all my devices. Is there any way to remove the "Require passcode to enable iPad restrictions", but not remove the passcode? It really drives me crazy when I'm travelling and not with my iPad, and I miss some of the fun stuff I was able to do without passcode. :( There's a setting you can toggle in the General Settings, and I've enabled it for my iPad so I could use it without a passcode. My iPhone doesn't have an option similar to iPad's Restrictions. You're probably seeing this as an extra security measure from Apple itself as a safety precaution.
How do you reset your iPad if you forgot the restrictions passcode?
I had my iPad on my keychain and went to take it to a friend's house.
I forgot the passcode on my iPad and now can't log into my iPad. When I try to enter the passcode, it doesn't accept the numbers. The only way to get into the iPad is to take it to an Apple Store. How do I reset it without the passcode?
This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast Apple users. Thanks. Can you go to Settings -> General -> Reset and then click the "Erase All Content & Settings" button? This works. Thanks.
When I got home, I couldn't find any reset option. I found one place where you could see the date of the last time you used your iPad. It says June 24, 2025. So I'm not sure what the date was when you went to your friend's house and what the date is now. I would like to know which date is correct. I am wondering if my iPad has been reset or not.
On another note, if anyone can help me with this problem, I would really appreciate it. My iPad was on my key chain and I forgot my passcode. I took it to a friend's house, but I forgot the passcode. I want to log into my iPad but it won't accept the passcode.
I need help. Hi, can you tell us what happens when you try to enter the passcode? Do you get a message saying that you have forgotten the passcode? If so, please tell us what happens next. Please be patient, as it may take a while to reply to your message.
How do I reset my restrictions passcode without a passcode?
When I first purchased my Pixel, it asked me to put in my country's number for passcode restrictions.
I have since moved to the US, and I can't figure out how to remove that restriction.
I am trying to do it using Google Apps Admin. Does anyone know how I could reset this? Thanks. In your Google Account setting (), change the box on the right (next to "Reset" and "Unlink") to the setting that you had at first (country restrictions). When it's done refreshing, try putting in your old passcode.
If that doesn't work, I'm afraid you'll have to contact customer support.
