What does all_proxy do?
hi, I'm having a problem with the latest daily build of ubuntu - it's just hanging on boot.
I'm trying to install using the livecd, and I have tried to boot into recovery mode but it hangs at "loading modules, waiting for root filesystem" !info allproxy trusty In component universe, is optional. Version 2.2-1 (trusty), package size 13 kB, installed size 58 kB
nacc: oh ok. So I need to look that one up? k1l: I think you said you did it in 14. yes. k1l: it's in universe, so I guess you need to enable universe. aha ok, thanks. so there is a debian package that is missing a ubuntu package, which one of the packages is that? k1l: no, that's what you did. k1l: that is where you added universe to your sources.list ah ok. its the german translation of tor so it is not a huge deal. k1l: I guess you might need to update apt-cacher-ng, since that pulls in universe? I will look into that one. the one I used to have on my 14.04 was only tor. But that still pulled in some other packages that were needed for the ubuntu tor project. So now it seems I have to pull in allproxy.
I think I will need to do that every time I need to update the repo lists. k1l: right, so you can probably just put the following in your /etc/apt.confi
