I have used my university login details to attempt to access the home page and I am not asked for the username or password.

All I am prompted for is a password hint. I am logged in to my account on my phone, so this shouldn't be the problem. I have tried with the same domain name as well as another domain in a different location, and I still cannot gain access to the site.

It was an IP address limit that Google had set on their servers. The site had to reset.
