Do free VPNs work?

Is there any 100% free VPNs?

out there?

By this I mean that, for some countries/countries, there are no fees or registration fees and they are completely legal to use? I know some VPN providers do charge for their services but if it's completely free you can save a lot more money if you are on a tight budget. I am looking for a VPN with no fees as well as a fast speed. Thanks a lot in advance

There will be free options, of course. They will often get hit because they are either 1. Not very popular or 2. Not very private. If your main goal is anonymity and your privacy is important, pick a company that gets the most support, trust, and is willing to fight back. Companies like StrongVPN exist specifically because we take our privacy seriously. We don't care about being popular.

It is worth noting, however, that even with a great privacy policy, a free version of a service might still be tracked. Also, if your concerns are purely for privacy, a free service probably isn't a good idea.

If all you're going to need is a basic free VN then there's nothing out there on the face of the earth that will really protect your privacy 100%. I've been using this VPN (www.strongvpn.com) for years now (the "free" version). I find it to be pretty reliable. Yes it's free, but they'll tell you there's nothing to hack into it.

I'm using this right now to connect to a local server that's not blocked by my ISP at home. Works flawlessly.

StrongVPN also allows access to free public Wi-Fi hotspots. You would use it for a different purpose if the public hotspot in question was blocked. The name of the program I mentioned in my OP is a clue on this front.

I see what you're saying, but a lot of these free vpn apps also come with their pros & cons. Pros for most are: No logs, - Free, - Fast speeds, - No Logging, - Unblocked public wifi, - Anonymous.
