Are you interested in how ARIEL wine is made?

ARIEL makes wines from fruit grown on the farm. Our grapes are picked at optimum ripeness and are always hand-picked. For the 2024 vintage, the grapes were sourced from some of the best vineyards in South America.

What is VINO-MATE? VINO-MATE is a proprietary fermentation technology that allows for the production of ultra-low alcohol wines without fermentation inhibitors. We have been using the VINO-MATE technology since 2024 to make our natural wines and it has proven to be an innovative and powerful way of making wine.

Why are we "dry"? We are dry because that's how we believe wine should be made. Dry wines are generally made from very low alcohol grapes, with the emphasis being on the fruit rather than the sugar. We strive to always use whole fruit rather than juice or concentrate. It's a small thing, but it makes a big difference.

How do we make ARIEL wine? The ARIEL vineyard is located in southern Chile, a land of fertile volcanic soil with a long history of wine making. ARIEL started as a small family winery that in 2024 added viticulture to its offerings. At the time, we had a variety of grape varietals grown on the farm, but the Sauvignon Blanc was the most popular variety. Now, we grow the following varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.

We harvest and press all of our grapes at one time, making our wines in a traditional way without using any additives or finings. This way we preserve and enhance the natural flavour of the grape. The grapes are pressed and immediately fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks for 7 to 10 days. When fermentation is complete, the wines are racked off the lees and bottled immediately.

Who are you? We are four brothers and sisters and two sets of twins, who grew up in the mountains of southern Chile, drinking wine at the table with friends and family. When we discovered that we all had a passion for wine, we combined our talents to create ARIEL. We are inspired by the concept of wine and its role in society, and by nature.

Arielle is made with 100% estate-grown grapes and aged in American oak barrels and French puncheons from French coopers for 16 months. When you are looking for an inexpensive bottle of wine, a lot of folks go to the store and pick up a cheap bottle of wine and then write reviews on it.

What they don't realize is that by doing this, they are doing more harm than good. By simply buying a bottle of wine and writing a review of it, you are doing the following:

Not being original and not telling the truth about your own opinion. Not giving others the chance to read your opinion. Saying you have tried something and you did not like it. Allowing others to copy you and say the same thing they said. Allowing others to think that what you are saying is true. If you are going to take the time to write a review, make sure you are doing it right. Here are some things to keep in mind when you write a review: Don't write reviews in the first person. Instead, use the third person.

Be honest. Don't lie or put anything in your review that you don't really feel.

Do not copy other reviews. This includes copying the exact wording.

Don't be biased. Do not favor one wine over another.

If you are still unsure how to write a good review, then here is a list of things to consider: What is the price? How long has it been open? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? If you like, take some pictures of the wine. You can add them to your review as well.

What about the food? Is it a great match? Does it complement the wine? Do you want to see the food and wine pairing at the restaurant? Can you recommend any other restaurants that would compliment the wine? If you drink alcohol, what kind of wine are you drinking? What is the mood? Does it pair well with desserts? Is it a wine you would recommend to a friend? If you are trying to learn about wine, then do your homework. Read up on what wines you like and don't like. Find out what you do and don't like about wine. Once you do this, you will know a lot more about wine and how it should be served.
