How do I cancel my Dynadot bid?
Will the bid still show up on my account?
You'll first need to go to My Account and then select the "Bids" tab. Click on the link for "Open bids," where you will be able to choose the order for which you want to place your bid.
Select the bid that you want to cancel, and then in the bottom right corner, click the cancel button. All bids on the order for which you had opened will also be cancelled, as all our bids automatically start to expire if you haven't used them.
Can I have different items with different bids? While it is true that bids placed on individual items may remain active for up to 30 days, our system of matching bids together has a 30 minute timeout. Once this window closes, we consider it to be an automatic bid of the previous bid. We will never match a bid over the phone, and the only way to ensure this is through our order system, where our automated system matches our bids to each other once they reach the minimum amount.
I've placed a bid on an item, but don't see the bid when I log in later? The maximum number of timeouts allowed for each bid will likely only appear if there are not enough bids in reserve to fulfill them. If this is the case, those bids will stay active indefinitely. While you do not have to wait until the end of the day to place a bid, you can always log into My Account and view the status of your bid through our site or by calling our Customer Service team. We're happy to clear out expired bids if they no longer apply or are no longer usable.
Do I get any benefit when bidding in auctions? In fact, you get numerous advantages and benefits when bidding on auctions through our site. You get first right of refusal (FROW), meaning you have first opportunity to place a bid on a product before it is available for sale at our competitors' sites. Also, unlike most auction sites, you'll notice that products on our site are listed on each auction bid from the moment they become active, and they stay active for the minimum bid time, preventing the other bidders from placing bids until the auction goes live. Lastly, when you do make a bid, you automatically receive the added bonus of free shipping, meaning that the items at our site ship for free!
What are my payment options?
How to use Dynadot API?
Useful API for the purpose is in our opinion Dynadot API.
This API allows to get data from any Dynadot protected website. To make an account you should fill a form (instructions at the bottom of this page). After successful registration, API key will be emailed to you. The key must be kept until next request or after termination of the account (that's why we send it directly in mail instead of keeping it in browser, so if it gets lost or someone gets your password and keys the access is lost.
The main differences of the API from the standard one is that in order to get token you need to fill all information at login form and that API is payed per request. If there are any limitations for the usage of this API (as you can see below in the section limitations) just leave us a comment bellow. We're also waiting a comment from you, if you have any other ideas how this API can be useful for you, just write a comment here. What exactly Dynadot API. API is used to retrieve website's data. Each data set, which you would like to request by using the REST API or use as a response to the POST request, has own unique URL. Every API action is represented as a JSON object of two type fields: status - the current response status; and content - the content of your request (the URL with the fields you want).
