Why is SMTP Gmail 465 not working?

I created new virtual mailbox named SMTP465 on my Gmail.

It didn't work. How to fix this problem? Is this SMTP setting Gmail for specific email id that I created? I would like to use 465 port if it is possible.

Go to your settings and in General tab, you can modify "Use 587 for mail from known senders". Choose the default value (checked) and set the limit at "0"s.

Now check for new email messages, if possible go through your email program and set a time period (days/weeks/months) to send emails. This will help you monitor your emails periodically.

When you send an email from your account, it goes through your ISP's SMTP server and then Google's SMTP server. When you send an email from within Gmail, it goes directly to Gmail's SMTP server. The only time you'll be sending mail from Gmail directly is when you send a test email to yourself (for example, when you sign up for a new account).
