After the launch of YouTube TV in May, Sling TV is now launching its own online TV offering. Let's take a look at how these services compare and see if you should consider either service.

YouTube TV is available only on mobile, desktop and connected TV devices. Where? Sling TV is available in more than 75 countries worldwide while YouTube TV is only available in the US. Sling also has plans for UK, Canada, Germany, France, Japan and Australia.

What is the best streaming TV service?

A debate many will have been asking themselves for the past few months, as several companies have decided to launch their own streaming services in the UK (and to American and Canadian consumers too). If you didn't have a subscription to Netflix or Hulu Plus for a month (or didn't get a free month in July), you may now be wondering where all your entertainment will go when you return to paying an actual monthly fee for the service.

Music isn't everything, however, and this is a question any music-loving family will have asked themselves over the past few years. If you haven't noticed, the TV industry is in a state of chaos with too many services (Sling TV, Hulu, PlayStation Vue) entering the market making it difficult for consumers to understand which service to choose. While some argue that these services offer great value at their entry price point, there's no doubt that they can all be overkill for most people. For some people, the only option might be a cable plan; however, for many, cord cutting and streaming is the only way to live without being completely trapped by your cable provider.
