How do I get an Indonesian VPN?
An Indonesian VPN is a very useful tool to use when you're traveling overseas.
Not only does it encrypt your traffic and offer you a secure connection through the web, but it can also ensure that your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will not see or store any of your information. To get an Indonesian VPN, you can simply choose from a list of VPN service providers at Myvpn.
The first thing to do when you start searching for an Indonesian VPN provider is to visit the official website of the VPN company that you are interested in using. This website should give you a clear indication of how much data they store, where they send it to and what they protect their users against. It is also worth checking if you will be charged extra if your connection falls below a certain bandwidth requirement.
I use MyVpn.co to make my buying decision. It contains links to all the companies in the database, and it also has all the information you need to make an informed decision about which one you should choose.
How to choose an Indonesian VPN service? When it comes to Indonesia VPN services, we have a lot of choice! But it's up to you which one you choose. The following four things will help you decide which VPN is right for you.
Data storage - Do you want your data stored on your home computer, or do you want it stored on a remote server? Either way, each VPN company will have a different storage and backup policy in place. The good news is that you don't need to be too concerned if you want to keep some information on your device. In fact, some VPN services are designed to do just that. But if you want peace of mind then it's best to know what data they store and where it is stored. Some VPN providers will state this clearly on their website.
What else will affect your privacy? - You want to make sure that your ISP will not see or store your information. This isn't always easy to find out - most ISP's never tell you what data they're sending out or storing. The best way to find out what information they're looking at is to look for their privacy policy. Many companies state exactly what information they are looking at. You should check if this is the case with your chosen VPN provider.

NordVPN is not the fastest VPN around, but it's really good at staying out of everyone's way. Most people don't even notice it's there, and that makes it an excellent choice for people who want a VPN that they can use without leaving any trails for others to see. It also provides fast connections.99 per month. Read More
ExpressVPN is one of the fastest VPNs out there, providing very fast speeds and very secure connections.67 per month, which is a great price. Unfortunately, ExpressVPN can get pretty expensive if you're on a larger monthly plan. The main issue is the amount of data you can download each month. On the Pro package, for example, there's 3,600 MB, which isn't a huge amount. If you're going to use VPN often, you may find yourself better off paying a little more and getting the extra GB of data.
To put it simply, PPTP is a version of the IPsec standard protocol designed to provide secure point-to-point data transmission over public networks such as the Internet. It offers much better security than IPsec in theory, but this is only true if all three components (client, server, and internet network) adhere to PPTP's rules.

How do I change my VPN to Indonesia?
Doing an internet search for "change vpn protocol tc" does bring up some good resources.
This post is a bit of a quick rundown of those tools so you're not lost in the woods.
The short answer is that you need to use these tools (or similar in function) to manually translate the protocol type you're currently using into your new preferred protocol. If you don't, then when you reconnect your VPN it will not work. There's no way to change the protocol on the fly. If you know you're connecting from say, California, and you want to connect using L2TP/IPSec, then you need to open L2TP/IPSec connections with your proxy. Your VPN software needs to have these capabilities or otherwise you're screwed when you reconnect.
Why does it matter? I work for a big company with a huge data center. We do about 100,000 Gbps of traffic from this data center. That's quite a bit and the traffic pattern from our users to our web servers in North America is fairly even.
A lot of people like to visit our websites from different parts of the globe. Our company's top 5 users in the US use our site all day. This is a single IP address that is used by lots of people on a daily basis. It could just be their computer. A lot of people have more than one. My home network is one of the top 10 sources for that single IP address. It makes perfect sense that you want to use a VPN with our company to stay anonymous.
Here's the problem. Our servers are in North America and our VPN is in Indonesia. This means I'm trying to do a secure tunnel from your computer on the US East Coast to our server in LTo do this, I tunnel the traffic through the Indonesian network. This tunnel works fine while the tunnel is running but not so well when I reconnect. If I reconnect to the tunnel my connection will not work as the Indonesian VPN (the proxy) is setup to be the default tunnel and not the L2TP/IPSec tunnel I'm expecting.
There isn't anything I can do to change the tunnel settings on the fly. I can only switch the tunnel I'm setting up when I start it up for the first time. And, I want to change the tunnels regularly, not just at the beginning of the tunnel.
