Can I put NordVPN on a TP-Link router?

I have a TP-Link router.

You can install a NordVPN tunnel on the TP-Link router by connecting the TP-Link router to the Internet using the router's web interface, following the instructions on. You can then add the NordVPN IP address to the router's configuration page and set the IP of the NordVPN server as the router's proxy address. The connection will be routed from the TP-Link router through the VPN to the NordVPN server, and back again.

Please note that the NordVPN server uses port forwarding or NAT hole punching technology to make connections to the outside world. When NordVPN is not configured properly (or when you have a static IP on the router), these ports may not function correctly, meaning that you will be unable to access the Internet or any services located on the internet.

How to select the server location? How do I choose the server location? Choose the option that matches your connection type. For the PPTP connection type, the VPN server list displays the server location based on your current network, and you will only be able to connect to that server. Your network location will be displayed in the server address box. For OpenVPN, the VPN server list displays the server locations that have the specified parameters. You will also be able to connect to the selected server. For SSTP connections, there is a dropdown menu that allows you to choose the country of the server.

You need to add the NordVPN to your router. The NordVPN app does not have the capability to add a VPN connection to your router. You can either manually add the connection in your router or by using a router extension. The NordVPN router app doesn't support routing. The router app will only give you the ability to connect to your device. Your router has to support routing for this to work.

How do I know if NordVPN is working on my router?

The router is connected directly to the internet, and has a connection set up on your computer as a wired (RJ-45) cable connection with a dynamic IP address. The main interface of the router will show all the information about what internet traffic it sees moving through it, including an IP address as well as any DNS or other information it knows about. As long as you are able to ping things, you know that NordVPN is working. Also, if you try to access blocked sites, it should get into an error box that they're trying to do a connection, where it will tell you why and how far it is (it can vary depending on the amount of traffic you've got going at one time.)

Connecting your device to TP-Link VPN Client. Once you have downloaded the APK file or the zip file, navigate to the Downloads folder in your device. Once there, locate the file and tap on it. Your device will ask you to install the file. Tap on Install and you are good to go.
