How do I unblock a website on Google Chrome?

Why is Google blocking my website?

Google Chrome is blocking my website from the search engine results.

For example, when I type in Google "Dolphin Project," I get a bunch of results from various sources, including Dolphincheck.com (the original site), and others that aren't even about dolphins. In the second row, it shows an incorrect result.

In other words, the same pages I want to be shown to users on Google, are shown to me in the search engine results. (You can visit Google with your own browser and see for yourself: ) My site is a simple one, I have no adwords or anything, just an index page and a couple of subpages, about three hundred pages of material. This has always worked perfectly with previous search engines.

Can you tell me what's going on? I would like to understand it, since I am a beginner at these things. I apologize if this is against some sort of TOS, but I found the solution to my problem (after a lot of frustration), and would like to share it with those who run into the same problem in the future. The issue was with my hosting provider. The problem was the web server was set up with PHP's default settings, so a visitor who was connected to the Internet would access all of my pages. Since I'm located at home, my connection is not great, so I had a good deal of delays and slow pages, even for the simplest of pages. What I did is to set up a web server at a local connection, using Apache's default settings. I then set the server to serve pages only from that location () to keep everything fast. Then I changed the settings on the remote server (my hosting company) so that the page was actually served from the remote location (), which took the problem away. My website now loads in 2 seconds, instead of 5. You can take my word for it: if your page loads in 5 seconds on my site (which it usually does), try changing the setting, and see what happens.

My experience with Google is that they know everything. Don't trust the information they give you.

How do I unblock a website on Google Chrome?

I want to unblock a site on my Google Chrome.

I need help on how to make it go away. It opens up this page and you can go to each web page you want to block. Then click the "Block Site" button and add it as an exception. The site will now be blocked and you can go back and change it to allow it. The website is Thank you for your help!

Thanks alot! I am still a beginner with computers so I can not answer the question myself. I found out how to unblock a website by doing the instructions you stated in your post. The problem I have is that, if I click the "Unblock Site" button on this page, it will keep me on that page even if I go to a different webpage. Does it do this or do you need to use another page? Please tell me how to unblock it correctly.

Hi everyone. Do anyone know how to add a proxy setting to chrome? I'm on a windows 7 operating system, so maybe the process is different for ubuntu. I really want to get on an external device, but it needs a proxy on there.

So, is there a way to put a proxy on chrome? If no, what is a good way to use a proxy without chrome (maybe vpnc?) and is there a good guide to setup vpnc? If there is an easier way, that would be great. Thank you in advance. Last edited by nymatty; 31st December 2025 at 23:59. Reason: For some reason I felt the need to make a spoiler section at the start of my post. How to connect to a wireless network with a certain SSID name? For example, I want to connect to wireless network with SSID named "Raspberry Pi" while it is open, and it is connected. For the same network, I can connect when it is closed and closed. How can I do this? I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and I have already installed OpenConnect and wicd but I don't know how to open these programs to connect to a network that has a specific SSID.

Why is Google Chrome suddenly blocking websites?

Have you ever wondered why Google Chrome suddenly blocks websites?

It happens from time to time. It may be as a result of updating the browser or as a result of a security update. In this post, we will tell you what causes Google Chrome to block websites. We will also tell you how to fix this issue. If you are experiencing the same issue as me, you have to read this article.

I am using a VPN service at the moment and the problem started when I was connected to the internet. I believe that there is a problem with the DNS servers. I have tried rebooting my computer multiple times but it is still blocked.

Type about:cache in the search box and press enter. If you get an error page instead of the cache information, it means that there is an issue with the cache. This can occur for one of three reasons.

Google Chrome has updated and it is now blocking websites. Your computer has been infected with malware. There is a virus on your computer. Your browser has updated and it is now blocking websites. So, here is what you have to do. Uninstall all extensions from Google Chrome. Restart your computer. This will open the cache page. Here, you will see a list of the extensions that you installed in Google Chrome. You have to remove them all.

Google Chrome will not remove the extension if you click on the Remove button. Go to the extensions list and remove the extensions. It will open the cache page. You will notice that the number of extensions listed in the extension list has reduced. If there are still more than one extension left, you will see a warning message stating that the extensions might conflict with each other.

Close Google Chrome.
