I use the VPN from firestick to connect to my router with my ip address.

I also have 3 devices connecting with the same ip address using the same username and password as my VPN. I am able to connect with my VPN on my laptop but I get a message from firestick saying that it is blocked.

It seems like your FireTV is getting confused and it's giving you an error message because you have two VPN connections going on at the same time. I have never used VPNs on any FireTV. The only thing that I've done with VPNs on FireTV is that I have one account setup on the FireTV and then I use a VPN to login to that account.

However, if I'm understanding your situation correctly, you are setting up a new account on your FireTV, while you still have your previous account on your FireTV. You should be able to delete the account on the FireTV that you're not using. After deleting that account, go into Settings > Accounts and log in with the new account.

Thanks for the response. It seems like the way that I have mine set up is similar to yours. I did try to delete the account on my Firestick and it did not delete it. I will try your suggestion.

I do not have a problem with anything. I can successfully login with a VPN using the Firestick. I only want to know how to fix the error message on Firestick that says "The Fire TV is not connected." I am able to connect using the VPN on my laptop but when I go to my Firestick I get that message.

I think there are no free VPNs that work correctly. My advice would be, that you connect your streaming device to your network instead of connecting it to the VPN. That might be the easiest way to do this. Or if you don't want to bother with this, the simplest way is to connect your streaming device to an old computer you have around, then run your streaming application (like Kodi, which I use) on the old computer, and then connect your streaming device to the computer. That way you won't need to mess with anything other than your streaming app.
