So I want to get a VPN for security and privacy reasons, and I was thinking about getting Surfshark.

I would be using it to connect to Netflix and Amazon, to access the internet from work. I would also want to block certain websites, like Reddit and Twitch. I was wondering if anyone knows if Surfshark is worth getting if I'm going to be connecting to sites like those, or if there are any better VPNs? I have heard of some people complaining about it being very slow, which seems weird to me because I have never had any problems with VPNs in the past. Thanks! It will definitely be worth it, just so you know, Surfshark has a browser extension that will block Reddit (it's the first option when you are signed into your account). I have also been using it lately to try to watch Netflix and Amazon on my iPhone and the connection was really good, so it's probably going to work well for you as well.

Yeah I was reading some reviews and it seems that even though the speeds are really fast, it's not really safe to connect with Netflix and stuff like that. But I guess I'll give it a shot and find out how it works for me.

As long as your computer isn't infected with malware, I think Surfshark will be great. With Netflix you might need to change DNS settings to point to the Surfshark IP, and I don't know if Netflix is updated to handle the new IPv6 standard yet. I know it's working for me, but the speeds are really good.
