How do I delete Screen Time?
You can use the Settings option in your profile to disable access to many of the features and content that we offer.
If you're using an iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can disable access to features and content by opening the Settings app, scrolling to the bottom of the screen, and clicking on Privacy. If you're using a TV, you can use the Settings option in the Apple TV app on your device to disable access to features and content. The Apple TV app doesn't include a link to Settings, but you can tap the icon that looks like a house and then tap Privacy, or you can tap the Settings icon that appears on the left side of the screen.
Why can't i turn off Screen Time?
(It doesn't work)
If there are any errors or anything I've forgotten, let me know and I'll post it in this message. Edit: For some reason that didn't turn out too well on the mobile version of this message I put in the title, hopefully that makes sense. I've been on an Android since May 2024 and it's been wonderful! I can't believe it took so long to get to the point of finally turning Screen Time on. Unfortunately, after I did this, it just. Doesn't work. The settings that have to do with Screen Time just don't apply. It has nothing to do with the phone, because I've had that problem on two of my devices. I'm sure I missed something and maybe the instructions I followed weren't up to date, but I've gone over them in my head several times and I'm not sure what else I missed.1 which I bought in March and updated to 6.
When I turn on and set it up, I turn off "Limit Screen Time" and "Manage Notifications". I do all of this because Google says I have no reason to have access to these apps and functions.
After that, I go to the screen time page and the controls I want to turn on aren't visible. None of the settings I want to turn on appear. And then when I look at the settings again, none of the controls that were set to off before now appear. It just makes no sense at all.
You need to log in with your Google Account to use Screen Time. For some reason that doesn't work for me. I thought it would be fixed by using another account with that app, but even after signing in with a different account I still get the same problems.
I have a non-Nexus phone from last year, so it might be that the Nexus version has special features that don't apply to that device. But I'm not even sure if that is possible or how it could be done.
Anyway, for me it is a real showstopper and the only reason I have to write this in the first place. And all my attempts to find a solution have failed. I'll be completely happy if someone can solve this.
