Is there a way to use Spokeo for free?
(not as a trial)? I really like how easy it is, and the results, and I was just thinking what I might look at for my husband's family ancestry.com search, but it appears that Spokeo won't work for free, and they only charge a little bit if you're just viewing the information. Maybe the people I'm requesting aren't actually living within your boundaries? It's not so much about finding the one person, I'd just like to know where each relative lives now and how long ago they moved there from their home town. I would imagine I'd need to do their birth and death dates in order to use the service? Anyone have any experience with Spokeo? Do they charge for free or how would it work?
My family uses Spokeo and yes they require all of the necessary information. You have to do some digging through Facebook posts and things I think that would take awhile. I don't mind paying the fee for Spokeo myself as long as I have the relevant data. The site is worth looking into.
I don't know where he's located as neither his parents nor siblings are on Spokeo. I'll look up his parents first before looking for info on family and then siblings. It's so easy to type in their information. I've tried doing it without any info and the info on his birth family is incorrect. As well as his birth date from census records he's also not married! He said he had an "affair" and they split up. His dad says he "was never married". No wonder they're still not found on Spokeo. They moved out of state 10 years ago and were not on his dad's side when they split up.
I used Spokeo a couple of months ago and it's awesome. I just did my family. I can do my husband's, my 3 children's families, and any generation in between. Also, you can see if anyone has ever died - a great idea!
How trustworthy is Spokeo?
Spokeo is a free online platform that offers information on over 230 million American citizens.
It doesn't share any of your data, and it certainly doesn't sell it. It is completely free, but in the service industry, you have to pay for everything. It also gives users their own profile pages, for example, and if you are looking to get a job, you will want to use Spokeo. With that in mind, let's look at its credibility.
Is Spokeo Reliable? The website is reliable, but like all things in life, it has its flaws. The biggest problem with the site is that there is no about us page, so it doesn't tell you where they're getting their data from, if any at all. If you try to look for a page that will tell you all that, you won't find it. You'll find lots of articles, videos, and a Facebook page that says:
We're a website that helps users get jobs. We give people their own social network profiles that allow them to find a job, learn about jobs, and connect with others in their area who are looking for employment. We don't gather your data, sell it to third parties, or advertise our services or products. We're committed to helping you, not selling you out.
They use Facebook login as the only way to log into their site. I believe this website and all social media sites in general would better off if they took more active steps to protect users. Many social media sites have been hacked and have sold your data to companies.
Some users of Spokeo claim they never actually got a reply from Spokeo, and they kept receiving spam. They even received some personal threats from the people on the Spokeo site, which didn't feel good at all.
Another problem with the site is that users can't access their personal information without first creating an account. You have to set your birthday and email address, and then answer a question about yourself, but there's no way to change this information later. If you change your email address, your new profile will not receive updates from any of your connections or posts.

How can I lookup a person for free?
(And can I be anonymous?)
If I was a young professional in your city, how could I find out more about the person? How could I look up their online presence and maybe even find out their email address? How could I learn about their life outside of work and how can I reach them? If you're an old friend or family member, I'd still like to know! I've never had someone to help me do this. There's nothing to compare it to in the real world. I just want to try it for myself.
Thanks! P.S. Also if you have any tips, I'd love to hear them.
"When you're a young engineer, the amount of money that you need in your bank account is not as important as the value it represents. The only thing you need to consider is what is the best way to spend your time in the long run. It's that simple. When you're an old engineer, the amount of money that you need in your bank account is not so important any more. You just need to make sure that you've spent your time wisely." - Steve Souders
Can you please elaborate on how you would search for a "young professional"? Do you mean the first one you knew? RikardoSep 16 '11 at 22:08. Well, I would try to locate a young professional in my neighborhood. I'd say someone who has some kind of job, though I'm not sure what you mean by job (is he a banker?) In that case, it would depend on where he lives. He could live in an apartment or a house. Is the young professional in a city or on a university campus? If I had a young professional I knew, I'd ask if he would be willing to answer some questions for a book I'm writing.
RikardoSep 16 '11 at 22:17. I don't mean anyone I actually know, but anyone in my age range (like 20-40) who is "in a good place" in life. People with careers, relationships, friends, family, etc.

Perhaps it would better to include in the question what age range you are talking about.
