Is there a free option for Spokeo?

Is there a free alternative to Spokeo?

How can I tell if Spokeo is accurate?

Some places say that they have a large collection of data and have millions of records. In fact, one source claims to contain over 25 billion, but another says 100 billion. Is this simply exaggerated? Are some of the data points being put together by merging other sources? If there are two separate entities for the location data and the property value data, then is Spokeo doing some clever mapping of values? Or is that all the data is being pulled from only one company? Are there any free alternatives to Spokeo?
I know it will be somewhat subjective, but this is more of an open ended "could you please answer my question better?" type request than just asking for a specific answer. Thanks! Spokeo doesn't merge data from multiple sources because of privacy issues - most of their money comes from marketing based on their user-based consumer data. They make no money when a user gets a job offer, get transferred, or move away, because there is no mechanism to track those things.

In terms of data quality, Spokeo should be pretty good since you can look up the same record using a phone number and they'll give you a name. If it's wrong, you can use reverse lookup to fix it. As long as you're talking about a small subset of the data, it probably won't matter, and at the very least you'll know that all of the data is accurate.

However, Spokeo also makes money based on the information they've pulled from people who use the site. There are other ways for them to make money - like by marketing to users, selling targeted advertising or providing other value-added services. If you were willing to pay for something like this, you might consider it. It's probably not worth the extra money since the extra data would only be the most useful for those with the smallest audience.

Is Spokeo completely free?

I've recently had the displeasure of using a number of different free web tools to gather some data and insights about my own company.

Most of them were useful, but one of them was particularly annoying. It was called Spokeo.

I had no idea what it was, or what purpose it had, but I tried to find out. Unfortunately, I couldn't. Spokeo, it seems, is a search engine that will help you find data on anyone who has ever registered with it, or anyone you can link to. You can then use this data to search for information about those people, and they will also be shown in your search results.

But why would you want to do that? So, without further ado, here's how it works: Let's say that you have a few friends who have previously registered with Spokeo. You enter their names in the search box and you see results showing all of their social networks and public records.

It works fine. However, now you need to search for a new client. You'd like to find out more about them, so you search for John Smith. However, John isn't actually registered with Spokeo, so you don't get any information.

You'd like to know a bit more about this John Smith, but you don't have his phone number, email address, or any personal details. Well, you can get that from a public database anyway. It's a service for people with little time to waste, and it does what it says on the tin. So, the big question: ? Spokeo seems to use a lot of data to show the results, but I didn't spot any obvious restrictions. It's almost as if I could freely use their services for any of their clients.

So, maybe it's free, but not for me. The search results were often very slow and I got errors on every page load. I also had to pay for some of the services (some links were broken).

Is there a free site like BeenVerified?

I see it has some great freebie reviews on the site, but the only thing that seems like a paid review would be the email sign up.

What other options are there? I'm looking to start a business, so I need to know what sites would best suited for me. Thanks!

The most common method for acquiring a verified email address is via a website called Email Forwarding Service (like Gmail). You can also use a social networking account like LinkedIn or a company's "About" page, or if you already have an account on the website you're on, you can just sign in there and go to your profile.

If your goal is to get someone's email address, then it's not necessary to verify your own email address. We have our own reason for wanting verification and we have nothing to hide. The only people we'd consider a threat are scammers who want to steal our money, our identity, or our privacy. If you're a good person, then you don't need verification.

Also, if you have your own website, it should have an email verification on the contact page. This will allow visitors to receive emails from you, without having to leave your website. If the website you're on doesn't have that option, then you can still use the methods above to verify your email.

If your goal is to contact people you don't know, and if you want to avoid spam, then I'd recommend not using one of the other options listed above. These services are great, but they can also be used to send spam. It's worth the hassle to use a verified email address to get free stuff and avoid spam, but if you really need someone's email address, then it's better to wait until you know that person. There are several forums online where people write about their experiences with their particular product, and some people may write that they got a free sample by mistake, or it's an affiliate program. Once you start visiting these forums, you may find a free sample link. Just be careful when you click on them, since these may be links to malicious sites.

Hi, I've been reading through your questions, and I think I might be able to help. The problem that you're facing is actually common, and many people have been on your same road before you. I'm here to tell you that I know how you feel, and I can help.

Is there a free option for Spokeo?

Spokeo is free, right?

Thats what they say at the top of the page. Nope! There is a pay version on the web site and you have to sign up for an account to see how the data is. I have never used the paid version and never will. I can access more info than their site wants me to know.

What does the subscription option provide. A different website? What does that mean? Not sure where this is coming from? You have a few options. Try it and see what the premium offering gives you. If its worth it to you then go for it. Make your voice heard and send an email to them. Thanks Dave for the link. My comment was not at all directed at any company. Just in general about the amount of money people give for something they get free? So we're not going to pay up because we get free stuff? If I bought your car and you paid for the gas then I gave my time and put time and effort in? Then there are only two possible outcomes that makes this interesting:

If they do a poor job and we get bad data to show that to prospective employers. Or if they do a good job and I like the service so much I use it more and more to check if all people are OK and to keep in contact. I'm interested about the number people who keep a premium account and never use what they have?
