We have recently announced a premium upgrade for Stremio.

With that in mind, we were also able to announce some other great improvements coming to the app, such as the implementation of dark mode, improved subtitle support and new features on TV.

In the premium version of the app, you will be able to download videos from more than 20 different sites. This means that we can now add more video content from services such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, HBO Go and more, so that you can enjoy them even more easily.

The best of the best. For every channel that you add to your Premium subscription, Stremio will save the video you're watching on their website to a private library in the app. For example, if you're a Netflix member, you can add that channel and save the videos to your library in the app, and when you're back on Netflix or on the mobile app, you can then find that video in your library and watch it on your TV.

For any channel that you add to the Premium subscription, you will be able to download videos from more than 20 different sites. Subtitles! If you're watching a movie or TV show on your mobile device or tablet, you might be familiar with subtitles. When you start watching a movie or TV show, you generally want to have the subtitles turned off so that you can enjoy the audio. But later on, if you decide to turn on subtitles, you need to go back and do so again. This means that you either have to start over or do a few extra steps.

We are adding a feature that allows you to have subtitles on in the background and still get to them when you want to. So you'll now be able to start watching a movie or TV show, and the subtitles will be on automatically. When you press the button to turn the subtitles off or on, they will turn on or off immediately and you won't have to do anything else.

We've also added a section in the settings to allow you to decide how many videos you want to save locally, depending on whether you're a Premium subscriber or not.
