How to unblock apps that are blocked?

How do I get rid of parent blocked apps?

I'm not sure if I have a parent-blocked app.

I have two kids and they both use my iPad, one is 4 and the other is 8. I thought that because they weren't on the same account they wouldn't see each other's apps in the Purchased tab, but I had a friend check and they can see each others' apps.

Is this an iOS bug or am I misunderstanding something? EDIT: It seems like I do have a blocked app, but it's not one of my kids' apps. And even though the app is blocked, I still have to pay for it. That's odd.

If you have a family iPad sharing the same Apple ID, apps are shared among users. You can choose to pay for the app separately for each user or pay for the app for all users at once.

How do I Unrestrict an app on Family Link?

On a small device, you can unlock an app by creating a PIN (or Password) for that app. When the app is restricted and all the PINs are used, it is not possible to unlock the app. In addition, when the app is restricted and your family plan has been activated, your family cannot use the app until the restriction is lifted.

If you want to unblock an app on a small device, follow these steps: Select My Verizon > App Manager. Select the app you want to unblock and select the Unlock option. You will need to type in the PIN or Password for the app.

Now, you can use that app again. You will also want to contact Customer Service to make sure you have a Family Plan and that the app is not restricted. This also works on a PC or Mac using Family Link! To access your Family Link apps on a PC or Mac, you need to sign-in with your Verizon ID and Password.
