How much does MLB At Bat cost?

Does MLB.TV subscription include At Bat?

I've got a basic cable TV subscription at a major cable company.

I'd like to get a MLB.TV as well. I can see that At Bat isn't included, but I was hoping to watch the games where the ball is in play during the game or they're tied late in the game, etc. Is At Bat included? It's really nice to be able to watch the game while you sleep (especially when you're away from home) without paying that much more than if you were watching the game on the local TV stations. I don't want to overpay if it's not necessary.

I did check at the MLB site, but couldn't find anything to specifically answer my question. I believe my last baseball subscription was with MLB.com and that included a similar channel to MLB. It was the same as the live network coverage of that game which you are probably familiar with, in-play coverage and some extras (mostly replays).

Not every MLB game is televised (by both the networks and local affiliates); in fact, many games are not televised at all. With that said, I believe that you can either subscribe to just one (live, or network) or you can subscribe to both. The extra channels (or, as described above, "channel"), however, do require you to subscribe.

That said, I haven't used At Bat and know little about its coverage; you'll have to let us know how it works out for you. The MLB.TV subscription will not automatically include MLB At Bat. While the game has been broadcast on both TV and radio since 2025, this was changed in 2025. At that point in time, TV and radio were offered as individual subscription options. Subscription pricing for the 2008-2009 seasons only included a single subscription option that also offered access to other MLB Network programming (such as the pre-game show, post-game show, All-Star Game etc.)

At present time, you may choose between subscribing to either the MLB Network or MLB.

Is MLB At Bat app free?

Does the MLB at bat app work without a subscription?

Can I download it without paying? Do I need to pay a monthly fee for it or can I use it for a limited time? Can anyone help me out? I know I'm new and this is probably a stupid question, but I don't have much money and this thing seems too good to be true. (you can see a preview of all that on the main page in the photo). It also allows you to make a game plan before you start a game. I've only played 2 so far but it is cool. (you can see a preview of all that on the main page in the photo).

I agree with the people who say there are better apps out there for less than the at bat app, but my question is, do you really want a full access app, or do you just want the stat info? I bought the at-bat app last year and was very disappointed. You have to buy a subscription to access the play-by-play. It's all on their website anyway. I thought I would be able to stream games on my mobile device like I could with the Red Sox gamecenter app but it won't even allow me to access to the home screen of the at-bat app. I'm not sure why they would lock the app so badly. It's like they are saying if you're going to put the money in to buy it, then you have to use it as is. The at-bat app had a ton of potential but it's now just a worthless piece of plastic.
