How do I reset my internet connection on Netflix?

How do I reset my internet connection on Netflix?

My internet connection keeps getting reset.

When it does, I have to sign in again. Is there a way to avoid doing that? Or what do I need to do to permanently save my login details and avoid having to sign in again on restart? I really hate having to retype my login details each time.

On the app itself (this is an Android version -- the web version should work almost exactly the same): Tap your account in the bottom left corner. Select Change login.

Why is my Wi-Fi working for everything but Netflix?

Is it an Android problem?

I've tried downloading it but I don't know what I'm doing so I can't figure it out! Android 4.0 and higher supports the IPv6 protocol, which is the default protocol that is used by your wireless router.

IPv6 (also called IPng or Next Generation Protocol) is an Internet protocol designed to provide a transition for Internet Protocol (IP) networks from the current IPv4 standard to an IPv6 standard. It has been deployed in various forms since the late 1990s and has reached a number of milestones including its deployment as the dominant Internet technology in countries around the world.

Netflix uses this standard for streaming video content, with support in iOS and Android mobile devices.

Why is my smart TV not connecting to Netflix?

In the beginning of 2025, I found out that Netflix only supported Chromecast with a new Netflix app on iOS.

I had to look for a way to get my TV to connect to Netflix.

I was using a smart TV and all I had to do was to download a Chromecast app and it worked! I was surprised that Netflix did not provide apps for Smart TVs and did not mention it in any of their articles. All this meant was that I should look for other ways.

For now, I am looking forward to the first Smart TV on the market that supports Netflix as an app. I had a look at the new LG V30, but that is a small device and it will be too big for my apartment. I did look at Xiaomi's Mi Box that had an Alexa skill.

The one I am actually using is Amazon's Fire TV Stick and it works perfectly. It is cheap and simple to install. It allows me to watch streaming content from almost anywhere on the Internet.
