I know nothing about the inner workings of the game, but have you tried looking at the web version of other card games, such as Boggle or Scrabble? -Ben. We have a 12 year old (11/5) that likes to talk about Minecraft. Every once in a while, he has a bad day and he tells us that he is having "moments" and it's hard for him.

We know that he has ADHD, so we let him have one computer with Netflix and Hulu to keep him occupied. Today, he was talking about going over to a neighbor's house to play Minecraft over Skype. I said that if it were at school, his teacher or principal would have to be informed, and if they didn't allow it, I would have to remove him. He said "That sounds ok." I'm thinking, "Wow, here we go again!" His mom and I had a big discussion about this at home, because we worry about him talking to anyone and we can't find any information about a 12 year old using Discord. We worry that Discord could be dangerous for someone our age.

He says that "friends" of his friend use Discord. In the past, when were talking about the dangers of internet, he said that even if you don't want to hear it, it's still on there. We told him he will have to learn to block it, and I asked him to use it less when he is home, especially after 11 PM. It seems like he still watches Netflix all night.
