What happened to Soap2Day?
Sunday, July 31, 2024.
I'd be surprised if there's any doubt that I'd never be a huge fan of The Office, especially given that it was one of the first shows I actually watched as a regular viewer. I had no interest in seeing its finale, and in fact, I don't remember even thinking about it. Then, I got the call.
So, when they announced that it was the last episode of the series, I didn't have to think twice about it. I was ready.
Then, a year later, they were giving out the season finales on Twitter. I looked at it, I saw the announcement, and it clicked. I thought, "Huh, it's a whole year? How am I going to finish this show?"
Finally, after almost two years, I'm finally done. I've officially wrapped up all eleven seasons.
I think I'm going to make a day of it. From now until I finish this episode, Soap2Day will be dedicated to The Office. All of the day's posts will be related to the show.
In honor of the finale, I'll be posting some stuff from the last few months. I haven't posted any since June, which is a sign of how busy I've been, but I'm going to be posting every week, so keep an eye out.
I've also been doing some writing and editing, and I'll try to put some of that up as well. I've also started making a list of the characters from the show, and I'll be posting that next week. Monday, July 25, 2024. This is one of my favorite scenes. The camera angle, and the expression on Michael's face as he realizes that his father has made the decision for him.
Michael: No, Dad. Look, you're my dad. You're supposed to give me a choice.
Michael: You're not giving me a choice. I'd really love to do a podcast at this point. As for the rest of the episode, we see a lot of the characters we haven't seen in a while. Dwight and Angela are both back, and we get to see more of the relationship between Angela and Dwight.
Dwight: You know what? In some weird way, I'm happy to be here.

While the recent Netflix outage has reminded the world just how important online streaming is to our entertainment options, it's also reminded us of the fact that we are still trying to find the safest, most reliable, most free streaming site out there.
If you're wondering if you should try out a streaming site or not, keep reading for the list of the top 7 safest free movie streaming sites.
Free streaming sites have been around for quite some time, but they have only become more popular since Netflix was the first to hit the market. This is due to the fact that people have realized that they can access their favorite movies and TV shows without paying a dime, which is great news for many.
A quick Google search will show you hundreds of different free movie streaming sites that you can access from your laptop, phone, tablet, or other streaming devices. Some of the sites offer all types of content, while others focus on anime, movies, tv shows, live action TV shows, etc. The trick to finding a safe streaming site is to find one that offers content you love and has a good reputation, otherwise, you may be in for a nasty surprise.
The question of which site to go with is not as easy as you might think, and there are hundreds of different categories and genres to choose from. There are sites that are aimed at adult audiences, sites that stream shows and movies from Disney, sites that stream the latest movies as they come out, sites that you can watch at work, sites that have a decent amount of original content, and sites that are completely safe for children. I have narrowed down the list to the top 7 safest free movie streaming sites, so let's jump right into them.

Is Yidio a free service?
No, Yidio is not a free service.
When it launched there was just two of us working on the company and we could handle everything ourselves. However the company has grown substantially over the years and now has 11 team members, more than 50 employees and 2 million members. Our servers are in North America, in Canada and the US for instance. However our goal is to eventually create enough revenue to let the founders keep a salary while still having the ability to continue doing what they love. This is how we got to this point. With our team, there's not a single founder that can say "I'll be the CEO" as I am. Our main job here is to manage and grow the company, but we do try to give our team some freedom in what they can work on next. So right now, my co-founder, Tim, and I are the only employees that get paid by Yidio. We have a small non-profit arm of Yidio that allows us to pursue our own projects too, with the help of Yidio. As you can imagine, our small staff is pretty busy and things can sometimes take longer than expected, so being able to offer a small compensation at all (besides food!) is really nice for our team and shows they're valued.
What's the future of Yidio? Right now, we are constantly improving our service so we can better provide content and entertainment. For example, our site was built from scratch in a year and a half. Right now we are always looking for ways to keep making the product better and more useful to our users, without compromising our core values. Our hope is that every time a user visits Yidio.com they experience a new way to discover and share their favorite videos. This is why we also aim to improve inclusivity for all users; it's our mission to provide a good platform for all kinds of users.
What does Yidio's future look like? Here's our vision: the Internet as a place where everyone feels welcome, no matter what country they live in, background, race or religion, and Yidio will continue to play its role in creating that positive internet experience for people. I think the best parts of our platform and community, and our future are still ahead of us.
