Why is my PIA VPN disconnected?

I have two VPN connections to two vps's connected to two different providers.

Both the vps's are running Ubuntu 12.04LTS. I created two PIA applications both of which allow me to login with the username and pw that the VPS will require and then it sets up the VPN connection correctly however after a few minutes the VPN disconnects without any error or warning. Any one have any idea why? The VPN connection that is set to automatically connect on logon works fine, It's only the one that is set to connect if internet connection can be achieved that doesn't work. It doesn't even give me any notice that it has disconnected either. There is no IP address and it is not listed in the network manager application however it is listed when I do sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Found the answer, I was trying to connect to a different country vpn connection than the one that auto-connected. When it disconnected the IP didn't change, though there is a reason for this. Forgot to switch.

Does PIA VPN work on iPhone?

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.

1 with AT&T service. I am currently using a PIA VPN connection. I have been getting very poor speeds, even though I am located in the US, and I am paying for a premium service. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it possible that I am experiencing poor speeds due to the poor signal quality in my area?

PIA is a service based on IPv4-only tunneling, and as such, is unable to work on the iPhone. The current iPhone models are iPhone 3G, 3GS, and 4, all running iOS 4. The 3G/3GS models do not support IPv6, so the iPhone 4 is the only one that supports IPv6.

The iPhone 3G/3GS were not designed to support a VPN connection, because the iPhone 3G/3GS is not capable of running a VPN client.

I have a PIA VPN account with no problems until today. I'm not connected to any VPN. I am not at home or at work. I'm at school and I have a VPN connection. I cannot connect to PIA and it says the server is down.

I have the same problem, i'm in a public wifi and i'm using a vpn from my provider (vpn services) and I tried to connect to pia but it doesn't work and I receive this error message: Do you know if PIA is down, or is it just your internet connection? If you are on a university network, it is probably not down. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe your university network has blocked the PIA protocol. I can connect to PIA at my university's wifi, but not from my personal devices.

This has happened before. If you haven't received any updates in the last hour or so, try logging into your account on another device or a different network. If you still don't have connectivity, go to the customer service section of your account.
