FoxyProxy is a web browser extension that allows you to use any browser from your mobile device, such as the iPhone or Android, to access a website with the proxy settings of your desktop browser. It also lets you browse using multiple proxy settings on a single website. FoxyProxy for Firefox was released on August 9, 2024. After the FoxyProxy is installed, simply click the menu button in the top right corner of the browser, select Customize and Control, and then select Configure Add-ons. Then search for FoxyProxy. This will bring up the FoxyProxy options.

How does FoxyProxy work? FoxyProxy works much like Fing to secure your device using your public WiFi hotspot. Install FoxyProxy. FoxyProxy is just like any other application you install in your Windows environment. The difference is that it runs automatically and in the background.

When it's time to connect to the Internet, FoxyProxy will start automatically when you login to Windows, and block all applications and webpages that are unwanted. It will automatically remove the block as soon as the connection drops.

You don't have to do anything to make FoxyProxy work, it just works. The only additional step you need to take is updating your browser's configuration settings to ensure it redirects blocked requests to the application you want. This can be done through FoxyProxy's web interface.

Note: When connecting to a hotspot that uses Fing's FingPass protocol, FoxyProxy will ask you to enter your Fing password. It's a good idea to do this when connected to public hotspots.
