How rare is a gifted silver egg from TunnelBear?

And while each of our eggs contains our very own silver, we have hundreds of different hues and designs to choose from. So pick your favorite!

How long does it take for a tunnel bear's egg to hatch? Hatching is totally normal for an incubating mother bird! It can take up to 40 days or longer. Sometimes we can tell if we're getting close by looking for new fluff around the egg, but generally, it's too hard to tell. If you notice eggs that aren't making any movement at all after 20 days, we'll start to remove it so it can have a better chance of growing into a wonderful new baby!

Why are your eggs so colorful? The colors represent the time that you spent with TunnelBear as the sun shined on your egg. For example, our Red Silver egg was created during Daylight Savings and has the word "DST" on it. We use our own eggs to track the number of days that we've spent online every week, because your egg is what really helps us grow!

Can I keep my baby or will it disappear like the others? Once you receive your egg, keep it safe and healthy. That's one of the first lessons we teach our parents, but it's also the one that we think most people forget! You should never EVER heat an egg or microwave it, which is basically how the ones that disappear were destroyed. If you don't remember to keep your egg away from any sources of heat, then it may not turn out the way that you want. So be safe and treat our eggs the same way! :)
