Which selenium is best?
So I've been reading up on selenium lately and I'm looking for the best one to use.
I have 2 selenium servers on a different VM that I would like to run these tests on.
The one I currently have is selenium 2.43.0, but it's not really working for me (i think it's a bug in 2.0).
I have firefox, IE and chrome installed, the versions are: FF 26.125 IE 11.9600.18362
Chrome 35.1916.54 m
This is the code I am currently using: import org.openqa.By; import org.WebDriver; import org.WebElement; public class Test }
When running this code I get the following error: C:Program FilesJavajre1.031binjava.exe -Didea.launcher.port=7532 "-Didea.path=C:Program Files (x86)JetBrainsIntelliJ IDEA 14.4bin" -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -classpath "C:Program FilesJavajre1.031libresources.
How much selenium should I take for thyroid?
I am 35 years old male.
I am a little overweight. I have been taking 20mcg of selenium daily for two years. I was taking 10mcg for the first two years. I started taking 20mcg because of hair loss. I was doing weight training and would sweat so much it was ridiculous. I did not want to have a goiter so I added the selenium. So now I am taking 20mcg of selenium. I feel better, my hair is growing back, and my skin is clearer. I still have some hair loss. How many mcg should I take?
Response from Dr. Srivastava This patient is a very interesting case. He has been taking 20mcg of selenium daily for 2 years. The reason he wanted to add 20 mcg of selenium to his regimen was because of the hair loss. He has gained weight since starting the 20 mcg of selenium. This is probably due to a metabolic increase in selenium. I am going to put him on a maintenance dose of 10 mcg of selenium a day. This is a very safe and effective dose.
We have no idea what this patient's current hair follicle density is, but if he continues to take 20 mcg of selenium a day, his hair loss will continue to be very mild. This is a very positive sign. It means his hair follicle density is increasing. He has been taking 20 mcg of selenium daily for 2 years.
Hello, Dr. Srivastava, My name is Mike and I live in the Philadelphia area.
What type of selenium is best for thyroid?
I am a 41 year old female who is having to take a little more iodine to get my thyroid back to normal.
I have had hyperthyroidism for years and am just now being told I have to take more iodine. I have been taking 250 mcg of selenium for the past 6 months. It was recommended by my doc. I am on my third round of L-thyroxine, and my TSH has been between 0.2 and 0.5 for the past few weeks. I would like to know if anyone has any opinions on . I prefer the liquid form of selenium. Thanks
I'm a bit confused about what you're asking. I take Selenium in the form of 1,000 mcg of sodium selenite and 400 mcg of L-Selenomethionine.
Are you asking about the type of selenium that's best for thyroid? Selenium in its elemental form is available as an over-the-counter supplement. Selenium is an essential mineral and should be considered part of your diet. As a thyroid hormone, it is important for optimal thyroid function and prevention of goiter.
What type of selenium is best for thyroid? Thanks. Hi Mary. Yes, I think that is what I am asking, but I'm confused about what type of selenium you are taking. Are you taking the iodine selenium or the organic selenium? I take selenium in the form of a 200 mg capsule twice daily. The selenium is from sodium selenite, which is inorganic selenium.
Which selenium is the best for Hashimoto?
- Ask Different
I am very new to the site and I am trying to ask a question regarding selenium.
So I tried to search the internet, but I can't find any answer that is helpful. Please help! Here is the problem:
So I have Hashimoto's Disease, which affects thyroid, so I don't know if I am posting this in the right section. Basically, I want to test an app which gives you random facts about something. So far I have only been able to successfully test it when I turn off my internet and go on another device. So I was wondering if there is a way to keep the internet turned off when testing and then just turn it back on afterwards? Is selenium what I need? And please comment if you think this is in the wrong section! Thank you!
Here is a link to the testing page: Selenium is a tool that does automation using a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc). It is generally used for automated testing. You use Selenium as a replacement for human testers. Human testers will click around on a page. They can't click everything in a page. They don't know everything about the application you are trying to automate. Selenium is a good way to go about automating the whole application.
The most obvious problem with your app is it assumes the user has an internet connection. In your case, they don't. So you need to create a "no internet" mode.
I think the biggest problem is there is no guarantee that the answers are actually correct. If you want a random answer, random answer is a great application for a browser automation.
If you are trying to automate a website, use selenium as it works best with web applications.
