Is Hulu cracking down on password sharing?

Why does Hulu keep logging me out and making me change password?

It's hard to say.

It seems you're using a third-party login to Hulu. Perhaps your third-party login isn't tied in with your Hulu account.

When the new Apple TV was released, some users complained about being logged out of Hulu on the TV. Here's how to fix it.

If you've been unable to keep watching your favorite TV shows on Hulu because you keep getting logged out, here's what you can do to fix it: How to fix Hulu logging out. First, find your third-party login for Hulu in your device's Settings Account Sign-in and Sign-out. The page you land on should look like this: (Hulu does not have a direct login for the Apple TV or Roku TV; those devices do not have a physical Hulu login button, but there is a way to set up your Hulu user info through your Roku or Apple TV.) You'll see something like this: This login will only work if your third-party account is associated with your Hulu account. What if my third-party account isn't tied to my Hulu account? If the page above still comes up and you want to sign back in, your second option is to follow these steps: Visit Hulu.com from your computer and sign in with your Hulu login. After logging in, tap Continue to Hula. From the bottom of the page, select Connected Devices and you'll be taken to the page for your third-party account on your Apple TV, Roku, Xbox, or any other device. From there, just follow the prompts. Don't worry; if it asks you to reenter your password, you didn't miss anything!

The reason why I suggest going this route is that you might have already tried your third-party login (or, more likely, someone else has), and it didn't work. That means you're already logged in to your account somewhere else which is why you kept getting logged out on the TV.

In that case, simply following the instructions above to log in where you are will fix it. If you still get logged out even after following those steps, you should open a support ticket at support.

Why won't Hulu let me log in on my TV?

My family has had Hulu for over two years and every time I try to log in, I'm told my login and password don't match and they need to be updated.

But I have that login and password right there on my computer. Why won't Hulu let me log in?

How to fix it. Open your computer, go to MY COMPUTER, then USER INTERFACE and click on USER NAME & PASSWORD and make sure it is correct. If that doesn't help, try uninstalling Hulu completely and reinstalling it.

I've tried this but it didn't work. My login credentials are there, so I'm not sure why it's not working.

Hulu isn't logging me into my account. What do I do? Hi Taryn. If your Login and Password doesn't work, that means your username or password have changed. Please open an account, and re-login, then try setting the password again. If you still can't login, please call Hulu for further assistance. Thank you!

I'm having an issue logging into my Hulu account on a Roku - any ideas? Your Hulu account is connected to one of the devices you mentioned. You might want to try resetting your Roku so that it may look for a new Hulu connection and if there is a problem, it may allow you to log into your Hulu account. Click here for more information. I am receiving an error message when trying to sign into my Hulu account on my tablet. It appears that you are attempting to use a login and password on a device that we support. This is not allowed and is against our Terms and Conditions. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I've got the exact same problem.

Is Hulu cracking down on password sharing?

Hulu is one of the most popular streaming services around, and the one thing that's always held me back from trying it out was that I couldn't watch it on more than one device at a time.

But now that Hulu has released its Android app, and as long as you're a paid subscriber, you can watch from pretty much anywhere.

But the one place where I couldn't access the Hulu app was on my other Android device. For whatever reason, I just can't watch Hulu on my tablet. I've used other apps to watch TV shows and movies on my tablet before, but I've never tried Hulu on it.

I'm not alone in having this problem, though. As I was browsing the web for news about the release of the app, I kept seeing more and more posts complaining about the inability to watch Hulu from your tablet. That's not all of them, though -- there were dozens of them in just the last hour or so. I wasn't able to find any mention of the issue on Hulu's website, either.

So I thought it'd be a good idea to see what was going on, and see if there was some kind of glitch in the Hulu app that I could take advantage of. Sure enough, when I tried to launch the app on my tablet, I was greeted with an error: If that error's confusing you, it basically means "Hulu isn't available on your device." I tried a bunch of different things to figure out why I couldn't watch it, but none of them worked. I tried rebooting my tablet, I tried turning off Wi-Fi, I even tried disabling all of the apps that I use on my tablet before launching the Hulu app. Nothing worked. I couldn't even get the "Hulu Not Available" error message to disappear, even when I turned off every app I had open.

I figured that maybe it was some kind of limitation of Android tablets, since the iPhone and iPad are able to run the app without any issues, but the people complaining about the problem on the forums and Reddit suggested that it wasn't a tablet-specific problem.
