How do I find my blocked list on Android?

How do I unblock a blocked number on my Samsung?

I know it is possible to unblock numbers on the Samsung but I don't know how to do it.

This is a very basic feature, which should not require additional apps or anything. If you want to unblock a number on a phone that has a blocked number service (all of them, from T-Mobile to ATT to AT&T to Boost to Virgin Mobile and more), just dial the number and enter your pin code and it will be unblocked.

Note that not all carriers support this feature, so it won't work with all carrier networks.

How do I find my blocked list on Android?

I'm using a rooted device (HTC Incredible S, CM7). If I had it rooted and used to have my "blocked apps" in the standard "Settings --> Applications --> Blocked" list, then I unrooted and deleted everything, and I was still getting that list, so I assumed that maybe it was because I had one of the apps on the Market? So I went ahead and looked in the Market for that app and found it on the Marketplace. So I went ahead and put in the SIM card from that phone and got the SIM ported to my CM7 Nexus. It's not on the Apps list. Where is it? I have not done anything with it, so it should be installed.

I searched a bit but did not find the app under marketplaces. I tried to search it in the App manager in the Settings menu. But there it is not listed as an app. Perhaps you installed it manually? Are you sure it was not downloaded to your SD card when you rooted?

I cannot find it in my applications. There is only one other app I know of that is like that I know of. I am missing the blocking list of apps for the SIM that came with the HTC Inc. Incredible S phone, even though it is listed under the applications that came with the phone.

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction? I have searched the web for this list and have not found it, and I am going crazy trying to find it. You are probably looking in the wrong location.

How do I unblock someone on my Android phone?

This is a question many users are probably asking themselves, especially considering the lack of any sort of block menu in Android and even the newer versions of KitKat.

There is one thing about the new notification drop down that I love. If you pull down the notification bar there is a tiny little icon that shows up in the lower left hand corner of the notification that allows you to unblock that person and have those notifications flow through the notification drop down and show up on your phone.

Today, after a lot of digging, I found a handy utility app called "Unblock Me." It will allow you to not only unblock a person, but it will help you remove their Facebook or Gmail account if you decide you want to completely cut them off from all notifications from you. I was able to easily unblock a friend, but not so easy when it comes to blocked accounts on my phone. After searching Google, I decided to use a tool that I am already familiar with. Let's start!

Before we begin, here is a link for more information on how to set up an Android home screen widget (if you don't already have one). You will need to go into the My Apps section and then you can access the widget from there. For some odd reason, the original version of this guide says you can only enable it from within the play store. This isn't true, you can access the setting from anywhere by heading to your Google search page or directly clicking on this website and going to My Apps.

Now that you have the widget enabled, we can get into removing the blocked user. First, we will head over to the Play Store on your phone. The Play Store is where you can download an app called "Unblock Me."

Hit the search button and type in "unblock." We now have to access the Play Store via the app.

Click on the "Unlock Market" box in the top left of the screen. Now you will need to find the app on your phone (the app will be at the very bottom of the list) and click on the "OK" button.

It is safe to say you are on the correct page. You now need to enter in a code, which I created by copy pasting a code from the back of my screen. You must note, do not forget the comma.

How do you unblock a number that you blocked?

That's what the government is asking about a man they say blocked his landline for seven years, and may have broken several laws in the process.

Jason Jones says it was around 9am when he got the phone call. He said that as soon as he saw the number on the caller ID, he knew there was a problem.

"After all that training and all that experience and all that training that I've gone through," Jones explains, "I'd be willing to do anything within the law." Jason Jones was warned by the federal land agency that if he blocked his phone number, he could go to jail. An arrest warrant was issued, and his home was raided. Jason Jones says the phone cut off so long ago that he can't remember when it started. But it went on for so long that he remembers the day he got the final cut. It was a Friday. "And I had to do everything I did that weekend - because I'm still animal," he laughs.

He says he was just trying to keep up with the bills. It hadn't occurred to him that his phone would be disconnected for seven years. He says the whole thing has been a nightmare. "If somebody doesn't understand it, they should get someone to explain it," he adds. "It was something I just had to do."

As a matter of fact, he adds, it's not just one number he blocked, but the entire internet. "It was the most fun you could have," Jones recalls of his time on the internet. "I was playing games, I was reading.

"What can I say? I grew up with computers in my house. There was no way that I could disconnect it.

"It was an abuse of power," says Jones. "They are not entitled to keep the phone line cut off without giving me an opportunity to speak with them and give them a reason for it.
