Second you need either a HDMI adaptor or an HDMI splitter for those of you who have 4 HDMI ports. There is a big difference between the two (which one to use) and its depends on your HDMI cable length and TV configuration and if the wall outlets next to the TV are the ones your cable is plugged into. I recommend the Splitter as it has smaller pieces of plastic connected with a small magnet. It's better if you use one less port for it to fit through and for it not to split of you don't plug it in correctly. Also it will keep it safe on the end where you don't use it as much. On my TV the 3 and 2 HDMI ports work with the splitter and the other 2 don't work at all.

On most TVs you don't want to mess with the menus as it would turn off or pause the streaming content that is in the process. On some boxes you may be able to turn on a few of the HDMI ports on the side (not my tv though) but I would highly recommend not messing with them unless you absolutely have to. Also most of the time that are just set to the side for other HDMI devices so there is no harm done if you don't touch it.

Next step you need a device to read your dvd movies which can be a DVD/BluRay player or an Amazon Fire Stick. You can buy any device with a USB slot or if your still waiting for the micro usb flash drive to come back.

A nice thing about this setup is when you watch Netflix with your phone or tablet you can leave it next to the TV as it will display the picture. If you connect your phone to your device then there will be a menu on your phone which displays the Netflix content on your tv screen. When your are done watching and return to your phone it will auto pause the content and you can take your phone out and continue to watch without issues.
