How do I enable PIA VPN on my Mac?

Does private Internet access still work?

Is it possible to get an Internet connection at my desk without signing up for a contract or being billed?

I'm using one of the free plans offered by both AT&T and Comcast, but don't have any data restrictions on my phone or computer. (I don't think I have an unlimited plan.)

How do they know who is using it? If I connect to an AT&T hotspot through my phone's data plan, does that count toward my overall data usage? What about a wired connection? Am I correct in thinking that if I plug my laptop into an Ethernet port that's plugged directly into the Internet with no switch, it counts as a non-contract Internet connection, but it'll be "shared" by the entire household? How often is the WiFi network shut down? Is it normal for me to only get 4-6 Mbps upload speed and 100 Mbps download speed? I understand that hotspots only count towards data if they're attached to a mobile phone, which the hotspot isn't. Does this mean that I don't have to worry about running out of data, even if I'm downloading huge games and movies like The Walking Dead, Witcher 3, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 1/2/3, etc? Thanks. Update: After taking a few minutes to look around and search, I came to the same conclusion as the comments at the end of the page. I just want to clarify that I'm not looking for a full time internet connection at my desk or home, just some portable Internet access that I can use whenever I need it. I could probably get away with just a USB ethernet dongle and plug it into my phone, tablet, or desktop and get a better connection than what I'm getting from a cheap hotspot plan.

Is it possible to be charged for using someone else's Internet connection? It turns out that I was paying for something entirely different. If you read the details of the TOS on the websites for the plans that I was using, one of the things you agree to is "Use of Wireless Devices is subject to terms and conditions available to you from your provider". Those terms and conditions include the following paragraph:

Other Provisions. A.

Does private Internet access work on Macbook?

I'm currently using a computer that came with windows on it.

I'm trying to buy another computer and the computer I bought has a Macbook as well as windows 7 on it.

The computer I'm buying has no DVD drive so I'm going to try and transfer my files to the new computer. However, the problem is I can't find the option to connect to the Internet via WiFi.

Is there any way to get this option to work? What you're looking for is called an AirPort Express. You can get one in two sizes, the 5-port and 10-port versions.

With one of those AirPort Express devices, you'll be able to share the WiFi connection with your Mac. You can set your AirPort device to a static IP, so you can use either your wired Ethernet connection or the wireless connection.

How do I install PIA on my Macbook?

First, I will say this is a bit different than the way you've been installing linux distributions (not even trying to talk about Windows or the way you would install on a PC), so just let me know if you have questions and I can update. To install PIA to your hard drive, insert your flash drive into the computer and open the Disk Utility. Right click on your flash drive in the left side of the screen and select Eject. Now it's like it's never been gone! When you're ready, hold down the power button on the computer until it shuts off. Once the boot screen has been reached, the OS installer will run. When you get to the menu, select the Install option. Once it has been selected, the following steps should take place: 1. Go through the setup wizard. 2. At the end of the process, select the Customize options. 3. You will see two boxes, one is your disk label. The other is the name of your external drive. If you wanted to change either of these options, that's what we'll be doing. You will see four options under Customize: Label: The disk label is a small text at the bottom of the screen that is easy to miss, but is an important piece of info that will identify what drive this is. Normally it will say Macintosh HD or something like that, but if you wish to make changes to this, go ahead and change the number to something you can remember. Drive Name: This is the name of the drive that you created while installing the operating system to. If you changed the drive name, then the name that is displayed in the menu will now be the new name. The name in the menu will not be a drive name that you entered; it will be the name of the drive you currently have selected in the Disk Utility. If you want to change either of these options, go ahead and change the name of the drive. 4. There are two options here. You can format the drive as MacOS Extended Journaled or MacOS Extended HFS+
