How do I get past blocked by admin on Chrome Web Store?

How do I get past blocked by admin on Chrome Web Store?

When trying to upload a version of an existing game and hitting "Submit" a message pops up telling me that I need to contact the admin for my store.

Yet, when I go to the settings page, the admin's email address isn't listed. Does this mean that there's nothing to do with it? Should I just try again?

I suspect that you are logged in as a different user on Chrome than on your web store. Double-check your email address. Also, make sure you own your store. If you don't know how to get your name verified as a store owner, please ask your technical admin on StackOverflow.

How do I unblock Chrome Web Store at school?

I'm not sure if my school has blocked it (I think) I didn't look to see. I've been using Chrome on the regular over the past few days, and wanted to get a little taste of the Chrome Web Store; but for some reason it keeps coming up as Not Available or whatever when I visit certain web sites. Like which is obviously Microsoft and which is obviously Google. But not the Chrome Web Store. Any ideas on how to get around this? If that matters: I'm running Windows 7 32-bit.

@bendbend thanks for the reply! No, i've already tried that. I don't seem to be having any issues with visiting MSN.com in Opera either, so if this is a problem with a specific domain then it must only be with Google. Do you know why they might have blocked Google though, just from the URL?

CuriousTidbitApr 21 '12 at 22:36. They may be blocking Google because of their copyright protection policies which you can read in their ToS. For your own protection, you should be looking for alternative search engines, otherwise Google will find you. Also, since you cannot access it from certain domains, there must be IP filtering policy which I am not familiar with. If they were a typical school setting with a static IP, you could setup a proxy/firewall rules.

BendbendApr 22 '12 at 13:41. @bendbend Thanks for the information. So, they are preventing people from accessing other sites by blocking a range of Internet Protocol addresses. There are no proxy servers, or at least, not that I am aware of.

CuriousTidbitApr 22 '12 at 17:00. This happened to me twice yesterday at school. Both times I logged out and it worked fine. It didn't fix it for the rest of the day either. Also, in most cases it's okay in the browser too. If you hit a site it might load a few pages, but the store doesn't open. On Safari everything works as expected.
