How to configure PIA on router?

How do I manually port forward PIA?

I'm trying to install PIA on an Ubuntu 10.

04 server and I don't want to use the port forwarding function. Can someone explain how I can set up manually port forwarding?

First of all, your terminology is not precise: PIA is an application for a web server - it's not a web server itself. A webserver (Apache, for example) listens to requests on a certain port, and forwards these requests to the actual "backend" (either another webserver or a backend service). This backend might be running on the same machine or on another.

You want to forward the requests on a port that is not used by your current server (because you are configuring the PIA-server)? If so, it depends on what you want to achieve. If your goal is to have PIA as a proxy for traffic on your server, I suggest to run the PIA-server on your server, and configure PIA to listen to requests on the (unused) port of your server. You'd have to adjust PIA's config file to point the correct backend service on your server.

How to setup PIA with OpenVPN?

I'm using a VPS server with PIA VPN service.

I configured OpenVPN and everything is working perfectly except I could not connect to the internet on my local machine on windows because it said you need to setup up your gateway first. But i've already setup the gateway, and the DNS and i'm able to ping google.com.

I have used this guide by the following link: And i've followed everything and configured the routing etc. I just want to know what is the problem and how can I set up my local network through PII need help because I don't understand the guide and I've been stuck with this for days.

EDIT: My internet port is not open. You can see that there's no port forwarding enabled. Is there a way I can make my connection through PIA VPN?

It's simple. You need to open a port on your server. Typically this port is 22 or 443.

How to configure PIA on router?

I am trying to configure my PIA on router.

I am using an Ubuntu 12.04 box on my LAN. I have two networks connected to this Ubuntu box.

One is 192.168.0/24 network with 172.

My question is that how can I configure my PIA on router? For some reason, the only way to configure PIA on router, it's not by assigning the WAN IP address on the router. You need to use some configuration on the server, and set the gateway of the other network to be the gateway of the router. Example: 0/24 network. Internet: 192.1 WAN: 192.5 gateway 192.1
