I am having an issue with Google Maps Location Sharing. Is there any way to get this to work? Here's what I did: 1) Took the default map app and installed it on the iPhone. 2) Checked the Location Sharing setting on the iPhone and turned it on. 3) Opened the web version of Google Maps and selected the option to share my current location. The iPhone chose the last location that was saved and used it as the starting point.

4) I have tried Google Maps 3D as well as the regular 2D maps and the results are the same. When I do it using the default map app on the phone, it's not the same as the website. When I'm using the website it's not the same as the map app. I can't figure out why they're different.

Have you tried to start a new session and then open the site? I have never tried to share a location on an iPhone but it would be interesting to see how it works on your phone. What version of Google Maps are you using? If you are using an iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4th gen, you will be limited to sharing the location only once per hour. If you are using an iPhone 4S, you can share your location twice per hour.

When you open Google Maps on your phone, you will see a dialog box that asks you to grant permission for the browser to access your current location. If you click yes, you will then be presented with a dialog box asking if you would like to share your location. When you click on that box, you will see the dialog box that you see when you are on the site from your phone. If you click on "Share my location", you will be presented with the dialog box that you see in your phone.

I am now getting a popup on the phone telling me that I am not allowed to share my location. It says that it is limited to one location per hour.

Why is my location sharing not working on Google Maps IOS?

I have an iPhone 6 and I have searched this topic for hours now and I have no idea why my location sharing is not working on Google Maps.

If anyone has any information on how to get my location to share on Google Maps please share.

I'm having a similar problem. I am running iOS 9.0, the latest version of Google Maps, and I have location sharing enabled on my phone.

When I first open Google Maps, it shows that my location is not shared, but then after I tap a specific location, it says that my location is being shared. The problem is that it doesn't update the map immediately. I have to close and reopen Google Maps to see the change in sharing.

It looks like the problem may have been resolved with iOS 9.2.

Here's what happened: Google maps was working fine on iOS 9.0, then I updated to iOS 9.1 and suddenly I couldn't share my location with Google maps. I searched the web for solutions, but most of the things I found were about the bug which happened before iOS 9.2, but it's now fixed in iOS 9.

I can't share my location on Google Maps when I have Apple Watch, even if I turn off Location Services in Settings. The reason for this is that Apple Watch and iPhone communicate using Bluetooth 4.0 (as seen in the screenshot below).

If you don't use Bluetooth, then the location sharing should work, but that's not the case here. In fact, this is how Apple describes the Bluetooth connection between iPhone and Apple Watch. An Apple Watch is also connected to your iPhone using Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth is a wireless protocol that allows the iPhone to communicate with the Apple Watch, as well as with other Bluetooth-enabled devices. If you have a Bluetooth headset, an Apple Watch can also communicate with it.

This means that there are two possibilities: Bluetooth 4.0 is not supported by iOS 9.2 or below.

Location Services must be enabled in Settings to share your location. There's a solution to this problem. You can disable Bluetooth connectivity and use Wi-Fi instead.

To disable Bluetooth on your Apple Watch, go to Settings > General > About and tap the Apple Watch tab.

How do I allow Google Maps to show my location on iPhone?

The problem is that I cannot find any option to do this.

I looked at the settings on iPhone as well, but all I can see is that there are two items on it that say "Location". Now, I don't want to use the "Location" option.

In Settings > Privacy > Location Services turn off the "Allow apps to access your location" option. This should resolve the problem.

If that doesn't work, you may be able to turn off the "Enable Location Services" setting (in the same menu).
