Who made the Exploding Kittens show?

Exploding Kittens is created by Daniel MacPherson, an online sensation of the past couple years, and he's still writing and performing his live show, although not on an official day-to-day basis anymore.

He's got a few other projects brewing: this YouTube series about him exploring his childhood interests (and some new ideas). He's also got a number of games coming out soon, including The Exploding Kittens Game, a co-op board game with components that explode if you play it. Also, his podcast, DitM, has started producing episodes with him discussing topics like Dungeons and Dragons and his new project, a comic strip called Knee-Buster! If you're in the Los Angeles area, you can see him perform at Meltdown Comics all the time; on Thursday, July 5th, he'll be at Meltdown doing a pre-show talk about his games (as well as the history of DitM). A few of you have messaged me wondering how to contact him, and what would best to do in that situation; you can do so either by leaving a comment on his last Facebook post of this piece, or through Twitter. I've actually asked him what to do in that situation before, but we haven't had a chance to chat recently.6 millionwhich is more than the film industry usually makes in half of the year. A while later, they changed their model from Kickstarter to Indiegogo, as Kickstarter was being taken over by larger corporate entities.6 million figure; it seemed like someone was going to make some serious dough for their idea.

The game started taking off in September 2025, which coincided with a couple different points where I met Daniel.

What is Exploding Kittens?

Exploding Kittens is a card game.

In it, players take turns drawing cards with two colors. They then have to try to make a row of three or more of their color that looks like an exploding kitten. If they manage, they win. If they don't, their line of cats goes "pop!" and the cats around it explode.

It's a fantastic game. I love it so much, I wanted to build a website around it. It'll be great. It'll just be one giant list of all the Exploding Kittens stuff that is available. So why not build a website that lets people discover new stuff?

I think this is awesome, I'd like to see something like this for my favorite board games! I've started playing Magic, and it would be nice to know all the expansions that are available so I can check out what is out there. You're probably right, but I would still like to see this for my favorite games. Like you said, I'm playing Magic, and I always feel like I need to play more stuff, and I don't know where to look. This would make it a lot easier.

This is a wonderful idea. I've played a ton of board games in my time, and knowing what expansions are out there is pretty difficult. This should really help.

Thanks for the feedback! It's all for free, so it shouldn't cost anything. This way, anyone who wants to can have all the fun without being limited by the expense of buying everything. You can also click on the links on the website to go to all the different pages and sections.

Awesome!

What is the NSFW version of Exploding Kittens?

If you're like most people, if you ask yourself "What's the NSFW version of Exploding Kittens" it'll probably mean that you're looking for something to do on your phone while waiting for your plane to take off, right?

It turns out that, for those people who are looking for the NSFW version of Exploding Kittens, the answer is no. Because there is no such thing! Exploding kitties is a great game, but there's nothing to be concerned about - that's not what it's designed to do. ? So what is it designed to do? For those people who have never heard of Exploding kitties, the game was created by Eric W. Sinesky of Droguet LLC and Matthew Inman of The Oatmeal, with artwork done by Daniel Bayliss.

The game is designed as a fun and fast-paced card game that allows players to have a blast without getting seriously upset. How does it work? The object of Exploding kitties is to score enough points to burst open your kitties and knock down other people's kitties. There are two ways to do this: The first way is through a mechanism called "flattening". When a player loses all of his or her kitties, the remaining kitties can be flattened. All of the kitties left in play become points (for the flattening player) and everyone else gets kicked out of the game. Then you can start again. The second way is by "exploding". When all of your kitties are out and you have at least one explosive, you can explode and gain 3 points from everyone who is left.

How many episodes are there in the Exploding Kittens show?

I've been binge-watching it and I didn't remember it being that long!

How many episodes are there in the TV show? Are they a new set of ten episodes, or are there actually hundreds of episodes? The show is made by Super Genius Studios, which was founded in 2025. There have been about a thousand videos on the official YouTube channel and two million likes on the SuperGenius account.

The number of episodes hasn't really been confirmed on the Internet. There's no official "official" number of episodes, only a few forum posts and Reddit threads. Some say it's only ten episodes, or that it's closer to a hundred, while some estimate at least a thousand. It's pretty obvious it's way more than ten, and it seems pretty certain that we're talking multiple thousands of episodes. The number is likely in the hundreds of thousands.

Do you know how episode numbers are used on television? Are all episodes numbered sequentially, eg 1 through 10000? Or, if not all episodes, how many episodes out of how many? I'm sure someone would really know, but I haven't really heard this answered. In other news, the cat food canisters are now in the stores. They're all the same canister except for the logo. Thanks. If it's a regular American sitcom or drama, each episode has a title, and the same title is used for every episode.
