How to extract contact details from a Facebook group?

How do I find the exact number of members in a Facebook group?

If you have a Facebook group or page that does not allow anonymous likes, there are a few ways to calculate the number of active members. There is a button on the side of your profile that will display this number in a circle. It can be very hard to see however if the group or page has many active members, so you can also see this information on the left side of the page.

You can use an online tool to count members or just use the information on your page as a guideline. Here are the steps to get this number: First thing is to figure out who is on the group. To do this, click the dropdown menu on the top right of the page and select "Who's online", and you will see all of the people connected to that group and the last time they logged in, as well as other useful information about their connection.

Now you can go to the bottom of the page to look at the "Members" number. If that number says "0" you are the first person on the group. If it says "3" then you are one of three people who are the most active. If it says "16" you are one of 16 or more people who are most active.

If you want to check the activity of the people who are on the group, you can use these three easy steps: Use the dropdown menu on the top right of the page to select "Most recent". This will show you all the latest activity in the group. These will often contain likes or comments on a post.

Find the latest activity under this link. It will usually be on the bottom left of the page.

You can now choose the "Last 24 hours", "This week", "Last week" or "All time". Click the option you want and it will show the numbers. This is useful if you have been checking the activity regularly and you want to get the last 24 hours activity.

Please note that you may be told you must upgrade to view this page correctly and you can easily do this by clicking "Get off Facebook" at the top of the page. This will free you from Facebook's annoying requests to keep your page alive.

How to extract data from Facebook groups?

When is the best time to post a message on Facebook and when is it the best time to post a message in a group?

What are the pros and cons of different times? Read this post to understand the pros and cons of posting at different times. Facebook groups are one of the newer communication tools on the web. Facebook groups are just like normal Facebook pages, but are divided into multiple groups of friends and are open to everyone. When a person or company wants to advertise, they usually create a page for it and then they post a link to their page on a group. That person or company is called the admin of the page. When a member of the group clicks on the page link, they're automatically brought to the group admin's page. People can share the page publicly (which anyone can see), or they can choose to share it with just a few of their friends (private group).

The way Facebook groups work is similar to how other social media works - posting, sharing, likes and all that. ? This topic has been one of the most popular topics I've written about and I can definitely say that there are a lot of people who have this question. So today I'll be covering this in detail. I'll show you my method for extracting data from Facebook groups. I do this manually, but it's the quickest and easiest way to get started. You could automate this process using a different method, such as scraping Facebook groups or creating an automated bot.

Before I go into details, I'd recommend getting started on Facebook groups because this technique only works if there are a lot of members. This post is going to be fairly in-depth, so if you don't want to be completely lost, I suggest that you save it for now. If you'd rather get straight to the point, scroll down to the bottom and click Continue Reading. If you're still on this page, why not bookmark this page?

I've also prepared a video that explains how to use this method. Facebook Groups: The Basics. Facebook groups are basically collections of friends. So if we look at the example below, it's basically a list of your friends.

How to extract contact details from a Facebook group?

I am new to python, but the problem I have is a bit tricky: I want to extract contact details of members of a facebook group from my FB page.

I am using python script and selenium. My question is how to extract all the data from a FB group page, then I want to make a json with the names, and the email, phone numbers from a members who joined that group. This is what I have so far, I was just trying to open a page which has all the info I need, but it didn't work. Import requests. From selenium import webdriver. Import json. Driver = webdriver.Chrome('C:chromedriver.exe')
Driver.get("") print(driver.title) print(driver.pagesource) driver.quit() the output is: Facebook. But when I enter I get "Facebook Group is not listed here". Any suggestion? In the comments you mention that you're not actually wanting to scrape the group page, just the contact details of people that are in that group. There are two major hurdles in getting this to work: The name of the group is not visible in the website. The content of the page that appears is not displayed in the website. Your original code is missing some important bits and is also not really scraping the content of the page in question. The reason it's not working is because your browser is loading the page which contains the content that needs to be scraped. Your browser simply does not load that content and then scrape the data from that page.

To solve this, you need to simulate a click on the Facebook group link, which makes the browser load the relevant page and then scrape the data. This means you need to use Selenium.

The following code works fine: driver = webdriver.Chrome() driver.get("") # We want to simulate a click on the "view group" link, but make sure the next part executes.

How do I export Facebook group members to Excel?

.

Let's say we have a simple group with a list of 25 Facebook IDs in the first column and a name field in the second column. The third column is meant to hold any extra data we want to export. I want to export this spreadsheet to an Excel spreadsheet where the email address for each Facebook ID is stored in a separate cell.

You'll need to be a member of the group you're wanting to export members from. If you aren't a member of a group, visit If you are a member, login and navigate to the group. Click on "View Group Members" under the settings section. On the bottom left side, under "Export Members" there's a dropdown menu labeled "Export Members to Excel." This will prompt you to login to your account, click "Continue," and a couple minutes later it will start exporting the members to an Excel spreadsheet.

There are two problems: How do I get an email address for the Facebook ID? How do I make sure all the FB IDs end up in the right columns? It looks like this (if you were logged into your Facebook account): If you navigate to the Group that you want to export a member list from, go to Settings > Export Members > From another site to your phone > Save to Excel. You should be prompted to login to your Facebook account (don't worry, we'll be using a different method for that), then select a spreadsheet to upload the members to and click "Download file." Make sure to select "From Facebook" from the dropdown menu instead of the default "All files" option.

This will bring up a new window with all the Facebook IDs in the first column. If you scroll down, you'll see a second column containing the name of the user, and in the last column you'll find their email address.

You could also find the emails by going through every row manually and searching for "Name" or "Name (email)". Just be sure to check if the email you want isn't already in the last column.

What if there's no name? For some reason, all of the Facebook IDs with no name in their Facebook profile end up in the last column in my spreadsheet.
