What does the name Andean mean?
It means high in the hills.
Like the Andean mountain that we travel to, which is the most beautiful one for hiking. We also like mountains because they always have wind and we have fun because it's always a little windy. We like the air, and the mountains, and we like the sky, and everything that goes together.
Isabel and Juan, or is it John and Isabel, how do you like it? The correct name for us is Jon, I and John, Juan. Juan is my mom's name, so she named me when I was born. We have three brothers: Juan Antonio (Tony), Ricardo and Raul (Paul). We also have a sister who lives in Spain and she is named Isabel. Our nickname is Ticos, it's like what we are thinking: little Tico. And we are from Ticos!
Do you have other hobbies besides playing soccer and walking? How about drawing, fishing, swimming? Drawing, swimming and fishing are nice. In the summer they are good because the water is cool. But winter is when we enjoy being in the water.
Isabel and Juan, tell me about your best friend, and your worst enemy. Best friend, our friend Tony. With him we like to ride bikes, run, skate and play handball. With him we also like to sing; he always listens to music that he likes. Our worst enemy is the house dog. Her name is Daisy, because I like white, and the color of her is more gray, almost orange-ish. She's very little and it's hard for her.
Isabel and Juan, do you know who Jesus Christ was? His name was Jsus. He died. He was the son of God.

What is the definition of the Andes Mountains?
The Andes Mountains is a mountain range located in South America, running from the Atacama Desert in Chile to Peru.
In terms of shape and size, the range is long, narrow and ranges in elevation from just under 4,000 feet (1,200 m) to nearly 20,000 feet (6,000 m) above sea level. The range is split into two main sections, the Northern Andes and Southern Andes, which are separated by the Pacific Ocean. The northern section includes a number of peaks that exceed over 8,000 meters (26,250 ft), while the southern section has only three mountains with more than 7,000 meters (23,000 ft). The total length of the Andes Mountains is some 2,350 kilometers (1,430 miles), and is part of the larger Andean mountain chain.
Climate. The Andes Mountains run through many different climates. The northern portion is dry and hot, while the southern portion is wet and cold. This is due to the effects of the South American highlands in the region, which creates a rain shadow effect, preventing moisture from the Pacific Ocean from reaching the western Andes.
Geology. The Andes Mountains are mostly formed of igneous rocks, including volcanic lava flows, tuffs and gabbros. The main part of the mountains is formed from granitic rock, which is a type of igneous rock composed of feldspar and quartz. Volcanic rock is also present, which is formed when magma rises and then cools and hardens. The Andes Mountains also feature a number of outcrops of sedimentary rocks, including metasediments, shales, limestone, sandstones and siltstones.
History. Humans have inhabited the Andes for thousands of years, and there have been a number of periods where civilizations have flourished in the area. Early History. The earliest human evidence for the region is found in the Atacama Desert, located in northern Chile. Ancient sites in the desert include the Cerro Sarmiento site, dating to around 10,000 years ago, and the El Castillo site, dating to around 8,500 years ago. While these two sites are both located in the desert, the Atacama Region has a rich history of human settlements that have thrived in the mountains of the Andes.
