I know Netflix has been a great tool to save on DVDs, but I was wondering if there are any special deals for seniors? I have a discount card for my age group and it's been used to get free rentals and free video games. It's not that I don't understand the concept of discounts for seniors. It's just that I'm a little surprised that a company like Netflix is offering discounts to seniors. It's also a bit of a gimmick in that you need to have a Netflix account, and be a member of the online DVD club. And, you can't combine the offer with any other offers from the company.
Why not? Seems like a pretty good deal. If they offer discounts for seniors and have programs like Netflix, then why not? And, if people who have never used Netflix and are interested in learning more about Netflix, then why not give them some kind of coupon for trying it out?
