How do I see my overall hours on an app?
I have been using a Fitbit to monitor my activity for about a month and to track my sleeping hours on an app called "SleepyTime.
" I have noticed that the last couple days, it says my sleep is between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm, but it only shows 6 hours of sleep. It used to say 10 hours of sleep and now it says 8. ?
Answer: Use the "sleep" section on the Activity page, which will show your last sleep cycle. Click "My Sleep" from the upper right corner and you can see the times you slept and the number of hours.
Question: My fitbit says I've walked over 100 miles. But I don't really know what that means. Is it even real?
Your feet are going all over and it's a fun way to keep track of it. If you're new to FitBit, it's helpful to have it show you the number of steps taken. In other words, it might say "you walked over 3 miles" but you can see it's actually around 3,000 steps.
Is it normal for my fitbit to stop counting my steps when I'm exercising? This is normal, it tells you that it's stopping. You don't have to worry about it, it's just the number of steps you're taking at that moment in time.
How do I know if I am burning calories? It takes more steps to go a certain distance. For example, running one mile takes about 8,000 steps, while jogging would be 3,000 steps. So you can see that you're burning more calories when running.
Is it possible to lose weight without eating less or exercising? Yes, but it's harder to maintain for most people. Eating healthier and being more active is a good start but it's hard to cut calories as much as you need to without losing weight. I suggest starting out by tracking what you eat and how many calories you consume each day, then gradually cut back until you're at a healthy calorie range. This website has great ideas and tips.
