Why is my phone blocking incoming calls?

How do I stop my phone from blocking a number?

When I call a number and it gets diverted to voice mail, the voice mail message states "This number is not allowed on my service".

My phone allows calls from that number, but it shows it as blocked.

What do I do? This should be fixed by default with iOS 11. For future reference, if you find yourself in this situation, you can disable the "Block Unknown Numbers" in your settings: Settings > Phone > Blocked Numbers. You can also turn this feature off completely, which will always allow calls from any number: Settings > Phone > Call & Message Forwarding. This feature does not work with AT&T, but it is enabled for all other carriers. If you're unsure which one you use, you can go into your settings and check your carrier information in the Wireless & Network section (should be under Cellular).

Why is my Samsung phone blocking calls?

After upgrading to an Android phone and getting a Samsung phone for Christmas, I thought I would be able to finally ditch my old Nokia.

But this new phone is blocking calls! I tried calling our landline on the new Samsung and pressing zero and nothing happened. So I tried on our home number on the new phone, pressing zero and it rang once. This never happened with the old Nokia.

I tried calling the landline number from the new phone and pressing zero and it made one ringtone and then didn't ring again until I pressed zero again. The number isn't blocked, I can't receive calls on it, but it's making the same ringtone that's just repeating over and over again. It's the same as the new phone, but it's not the new phone, because it's blocking calls.

I put the new phone back in the box, turned it off, then turned it back on and opened the box and put it back in the box, and now the phone is making normal phone sounds again. What is going on? Re: ? The phone must be using the SIM card of the old phone. Either it's SIM card from the old phone or it was factory installed with that SIM card.

To test this, remove the SIM card from the old phone, insert it into the new phone and see if it works normally. If so, then the phone is using the SIM card from the old phone, you need to contact your network provider to replace the SIM card.

I'm not sure why the phone is doing this, but after talking to the service provider, they said it was most likely because the SIM card in the phone is from the old phone and not the new one. So I went to their website and downloaded a software program for changing SIM cards, and I'm going to try and change the SIM card and see if it works.

The SIM card is a memory chip that stores information about your account. It's where you call numbers, how much you pay for the call, how long it takes to connect, etc. Because they are so cheap, they aren't always updated when the phone changes. I'm going to download the software to change the SIM card.

Why is my phone automatically rejecting calls?

Is there a way to make my phone automatically reject calls that are coming from unknown numbers?

I know this seems like a silly question because people usually get calls from random numbers all the time. But here's the deal: I'm traveling, and there is absolutely no reception in my hotel. I have a cell phone with me, but that doesn't help at all. The hotel doesn't allow wireless Internet in their rooms. There is no public phone or any way to place a call for me, so I have to make a choice: Reject all calls or accept all calls. I don't want to do either, so I need a way to automatically reject calls from unknown numbers. Is there any way to do this?

If you have the option of using a different device or network, try the other one.
