How do I share a Letterboxd list with someone?
When you follow a user and click the "Follow" button, you are sharing that user's content and it will appear in your own feed.
This is only for public content. If you follow a user's private content, only that user will see it.

How do I make a favorite list on Letterboxd?
I am making a list of movies I like on Letterboxd, but it is taking me forever to add my favorites because I have to add every movie individually.
Is there a way I can make a "favorite list" of my favorite movies that I have listed on letterboxd already? 1 Answer.
No, there is no built-in function to make a list of favorites. You could add your favorite movies to a folder on your disk and then make a list of them, but this will require a little more work. First you need to create a directory in your home called favorites. Then add the movies to that directory. When you start up the program you can select the directory and choose to see which movies you have added to it. Then, when you start the program, it will show you which movies you have watched. You can simply copy those movies to another directory, or just keep them in the favorites directory.
There is no need to add them all individually. But if you want to, you can.
On Linux/Mac: cd ~/movies/favorite. Find . name "*m4v" m4v > favorite.txt
I would suggest using the command line because there are many more options available there than in the GUI. It also saves the output as a text file, so you don't need to manually add the filenames to the favorite list.
What is the like feature for on Letterboxd?
I like watching a lot of movies, and I think my letterboxd account would be useful to a lot of people.
When I first joined, it seemed like I was supposed to create a list of my favorite movies. It's not like that, though. You don't have to create lists of your favorites, and there isn't a feature where you can do that. I just want a feature that says when I watch a movie I like it on Letterboxd. I don't want to have to ask my friends for their favorites, or create a list of my own. Is that what the like feature is for?
I just want to know if there's a way to tell people that I liked a movie. I feel like I'm being forced into a situation where I have to give a reason for liking a movie, but that's not how it works. I'm sure others are just as interested in knowing that someone likes their movie.
Also, is there any way to create a like feature for the new iPhone? I would assume that the like feature would only work on the web and that's why you get the "We're sorry, but you're using a browser that doesn't support this feature." response.
How do you rate a movie on Letterboxd?

This movie was really good. The acting was great. But I think it suffers because of the amount of characters in it. It's hard to keep them all straight and I think they would have been better off dividing it into two films. The first half is good but a little slow and the second half is better. It was nice that there wasn't any time wasted on trying to find out why we should love one person more than another.
Not a bad movie. Better than most, but still not really any better than the average movie. I enjoyed some parts, some parts I didn't really like. Maybe not the best, but certainly not the worst either.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Hunger Games? The entire movie was great, but there was a moment in the game where everyone was thinking and Katniss was the only one who was truly fighting for her life, and it made me feel really sad. Katniss had just been tortured by the Gamemakers for the second time (it was when she nearly died from her first bout of poison), and the Gamemakers were just as cruel and evil as before. They used their powers torture her and make her fight to her very death. I will never forget the scene in which she was tortured by the Gamemakers. She almost literally begged for mercy, she almost cried, and it was absolutely heartwrenching to watch.
