Re: There is a GUI for NordVPN on Linux? My personal experience with NordVPN on Linux hasn't been good. I'm sure the app's GUI is much better than this, but there was some odd stuff going on with my NordVPN instance.

I installed the Debian packages available from their official site and everything seemed to be working fine. I could create and update PPTP configurations. I could also access my remote network from any remote system which wasn't able to get access to the Internet at large. It worked in a local area when connected to my router, I just couldn't get anything beyond that.

The only major issue I ran into was that if I made the connection to my VPN before logging into my workstation, I had to log out of my VPN before I could connect to the workstation. To make the connection to my VPN, click the VPN icon in the lower left corner.

I'm just glad to see NordVPN has a Linux desktop app now, because it looks like they're listening to feedback. And if this new app works well for you, you can give them that big endorsement they deserve.
